"Whose car is that-" I pointed at the car, but he already beat me by asking if I had been for a walk.
"Um...yeah..sort of," He went quiet for a second, and I wondered if he knew who I had been with. Then, suddenly he drummed the steering wheel."You coming, then?" He said. I peered into the car and laughed at him.
"Coming where?"
"You'll see." I glanced back at the hotel.
"But we can't just...leave...can we?"
"Course we can- get in!"I flattered but he opened the passenger door and held out his hand.
"I'm not going without you," he said and as I walked towards the door, he took my hand and guided me inside."We need to move quickly," he said, as he reversed the car, one arm stretched out behind my seat. His skin was brushing the back of my neck.
"Because when my security guards realize I've gone without them, they... are...gonna...go...crazy." and with the engine purring in the air, we sped away from the hotel.

It was the first sunny day I could remember, but it was nervous sunlight, the kind that can turn into rain in seconds. "So come on," I said, as the coast flew by, "where are we going?" Juyeon had one hand on the wheel and the other in his hair.
"You know your problem, Yoona?" He said from behind his shades. He was looking at me, instead of the road. "You don't trust me."
No, I thought. I don't. And I remembered Hyunjae, sitting on the cliff, tuning his guitar. The sound of his song wavering in my ears.
"You're a Kpop star. Why would anyone trust you?" Juyeon laughed at this but didn't answer. I stole a look at my bag, Yeo's notebook was there, hidden in the inside pocket. I still wasn't sure if I'd have the guts to show it to him.
"If you won't tell me where we're going, at least tell me where you get this car."
The car we were traveling in, was bloody red-colored, with fancy-ass gears. I didn't know much about cars, but this had to be more than a fortune.Juyeon was gazing into the side mirror, curling a strand of hair around his finger.
"I bought it."
"You what???"
"I bought it. Where else can you get a car from?""Well, anywhere." I sputtered back, astonished. "You could have borrowed it or stole it. I mean...God...how much did it cost?"
"Dunno, a hundred and something. I can't remember.""A hundred dollars?" It was at times like these I remembered that Juyeon and I lived in completely different worlds.
"That's crazy," I said, shaking my head, but Juyeon's lack of response suggested he wasn't interested in talking about money."Can I ask you a question?"
"Can I dodge the question?" He replied with a smirk. I gave him a look.
"Why don't you hang out with the others on the show days?" Juyeon's smirk vanished, and he took a small, sharp breath. For serval moments he didn't say anything."You wouldn't believe me even if I told you," he said finally.
"Try me," I said, keeping my eyes in the road. A bright blue car passed by us. Juyeon let out a long sigh."Stagefright." I laughed, involuntarily.
"You're not serious?" I said, my voice climbing pitches. Juyeon cleared his throat and picked at the steering wheel."Yep."
"You....get stage fright?"
No wonder Sunwoo and Hyunjun were being secretive about it. They were protecting him. "Uh-huh."I thought back to our time on the empty stage in Starling, and something Juyeon said that day suddenly made so much more sense.
What are you doing here on your own?
I like it...clams me down.
