I was back at home doing my school work while dad was watching TV, giving honest reactions to the screen.

"How's school? It's the last grade so it's hard and stuff." He asked.
"Everything is fine."
"I mean is it okay with you? Any problems?"
"None at the moment!"

Yoona lied at the spot as she had been staring at her essay for an hour and hadn't written any words yet.

"Hey! How's the essay coming up?" He asked me which caught me off guard.
"Huh?....oh. not bad." I replied.

Dad turned his body back towards the TV but still his attention on me.
"Anything special you want to do for your birthday?"
"......like usual." I gave him an short answer.

"What are you saying? You're turning 18. It's a big number. You're turning into a adult." He said while looking at the picture with a blue frame.

"You're sure you don't want a party or something? Maybe an event?"
Of course not. Parties are not my things. Eating food as much as I want and having a sleepover and a movie marathon with Haknyeon and Changmin are always a heaven for me.

"How about we do our little thing we did when you were young?" Dad asked with his eyes almost disappearing as he smiled.

It was a little thing we used to do when I was 10 or 11. We used to watch movies and sit on the sofa till we fall asleep.

Oh.....how I miss those days......

While turning back in time, travelling in the memories, Dad's phone rang.

"Sorry, Yoona. I have to take this."
"Sure. Appa." She answered with a smile. The tint of the sadness wasn't easily seen as usual.

As soon as he was gone, something suddenly shined from the piles of papers on my table.

I snatched at where the light was coming. It was my phone notification.
It was telling me that I had a new message.

I looked at the name and it was-

I.....I wasn't expecting that at all. I rejected what he suggested but....what is going on?....

My mind was in chaos, while my mouth was hanging open wide.

I went upstairs real quick and closed the door as soon as I went inside.

I saw the green light on his profile.
He was still online.....

I tried to think what to reply but my mind was in a total construction. It was as if my brain was a city where every disaster that exists in the whole world was happening just there.

I started baffled at it and was confused as hell.
