Chapter 8

The trees and grasses energy and beauty disappeared. Leaving only dried leaves... What was once life, now was death.

The dragon slayers wrinkled their noses at the putrid smell and Happy hid his behind his paws. We could literally see death.

The Demon God WILL kill them. It won't let them live. ALL FOR ZEREF!

"Let's get this over with!" Lucy stated and extended her arms towards her teammates.

Natsu took hold of her right hand, Sting her left and Rogue Sting's free one. Zeref stepped back and as for Happy he flew back (as he was flying).

Lucy started to glow golden, a blue light surrounded Natsu, Sting had a white golden light and as for Rogue he had a very dark shadowed black.

Lucy gave them limited power. That power will only last for 7 minutes. 7 quick minutes.

They let go of their hands and grins formed on their lips, except Rogue who had a serious composure.

"Let's goooo!" Natsu yelled.

The Demon God didn't seem to notice the difference in power that was now surrounding their aura. It thought it had won, casting that forbidden death spell.

The three launched themselves towards the gigantic Demon God.

"Fire demon... explosion!" Cremation blue fire exploded into the Demon God's face.

"Light God... Heavenly Blast!" White golden blinding light blasted itself into the Demon God's stomach.

"Shadow Demon... Hell of Darkness." The Demon God screamed. What terrifyingly horrible images are inside its head!

"Celestial God... Pure Star!" A golden rune appeared under the Demon God's feet. It shined so bright!

The Demon God's skin started to melt. It was unpure.
The Demon God raged in pain. The mages not taking a chance continued to launch their attacks.

Shall the Demon God be destroyed.

And that was what happend.

The Demon God was now slime of mud.

He was slayed.

The aura who was surrounding the dragon slayers disappeared. Zeref walked passed them and extended his hand out towards the pile of mud. It turned into a book and quickly disintegrated into ash.

It won't be coming back anymore. Clovertown was now safe. No more Demons.

"Wow! You guys were so cool!" Happy exclaimed flying into Natsu's shoulder.
"We couldn't have done it without Luce."
"It's not true." Lucy said and shooked her head.
"I didn't know you were THAT strong!? I didn't even  know you could do that?! I thought you were only a celestial wizard!?" Sting said.

Rogue nodded in agreement to Sting's statement.

"Well... some things happened..." Lucy responded and scratched the back of her head awkwardly.
"Are you a wizard's Saint?"
"She should be." Natsu stated his arms crossed over his chest. "Now I need to surpass you Luce, then I'm gonna beat you."

He grinned at her, fire of determination in his eyes.

"I'll be waiting." Lucy laughed.

Zeref comes back over and said, "I apologize for-"

"It's fine."

All the mages looked at Natsu with shocked eyes, however Natsu was indifferent.

Natsu just apologized to Zeref, whom he hates!

"Natsu did you get hit by the Demon by any chance?" Happy asked.
"What?! No! Why do you say that, Happy?"
"It's just... you just told Zeref it was fine, when he was apologizing."
"Well... I mean it!"

Natsu's green onyx eyes landed on Zeref's black ones.

"Next time, we should work together."
