Chapter 21

"Where is Lucy?" Cobra asked Titania.
Erza stopped her conversation with Jellal and answered Cobra, "She went with Natsu, Gray, Wendy, Happy, Carla and Zeref on an S-Class mission."
"Right now?"
"Well... a time ago..."
"You're telling me that Blondie left with her friends and boyfriend, who's also your friends-minus the boyfriend-and you don't know when they left?" Cobra stated incredulously.
"Well... uh..."
"What kind of friend are you?! And aren't you part of-what was its name-Team Natsu?!"

"Erik calm down..." Midnight whispered next to Cobra.
Cobra growled, but remained calm.

"Why do you want to see Lucy?" Erza asked him.
"And why does it matter?" Cobra retorted.
Erza shook her head exasperated.
"Cobra if you're looking for Lucy, she went to Mari-Gold." Jellal said.

Cobra nodded to him in thank you and made his way out the guild with Midnight following behind tiredly.

"Why do you want to see Lucy?" Midnight muttered, but, Cobra, of course heard.
"I have a bad feeling."
"Bad feeling?" Midnight asked, but Cobra didn't answer and continued walking towards the train station.

They paid for their ticket and seated down on a bench. Midnight and Cobra sat across, both beside the window.

"You didn't ask what mission they went on." Midnight said.
"I heard."
Midnight stayed silent waiting for the answer.
"The mission was nothing."
"Nothing?"
"The flyer had nothing other than the location and client from what I got from Titania."
"Why would she pick the flyer then? It could possibly be a trap."
Cobra shrugged.

The train started to move and Cobra's face suddenly turned green. He groan as he put his hand over his mouth, trying to hold back in his puke. Midnight leaned his head against the cold glass and stared at Cobra.

"Are you going to be alright?"
Cobra only groaned in response.

Midnight sighed and looked out the window. The trees pass by a blur. His eyelids started to drop from sleepiness, but he kept them open when Cobra doubled over himself holding his stomach in pain. Midnight sighed once again and crossed over to his side and sat beside him, he took Cobra's head in his hands and put it in his lap.

"What are you doing?" Cobra mumbled.
"Helping you with your motion sickness." Midnight told him. "I'm sure you heard that from Lucy. It seems, it works."
Cobra hummed. "Yeah... it works." he closed his eyes and unconsciously took in Midnight's scent.
"Don't sleep on me."
But it was too late Cobra was already sleeping on Midnight. Midnight sighed and closed his eyes in turn.

"I wished you were mine..." Midnight thought.
