“Omg, Hobi!” I ran to hug him. After 3 hours and the most depressing and furious lunch ever, the doctor finally let us see him. He was sitting on the bed with some cables on his chest monitoring his heart rate and an I.V. in his hand. He hugged me back and said:
“I’m okay, no worries. I’m just sleepy.”
“No worries?” I gave him an angry look.
“You were almost killed and you want us to be calm?” Yoongi responded indignantly.
“What are you talking about?” he questioned, looking befuddled. Okay, time to tell him the whole messed up story. We all looked at Namjoon, the most reasonable person in the room.
He explained everything, about the strychnine, the text, and Jimin’s plan to kill this dealer in an accidental fire. The whole time Hoseok looked at us with an astonished expression, which I cannot blame him for. Then he asked us the golden question.
“What a waste of weed,” he mumbled, “But how did they know it was us making the request?”
“That’s what we’re trying to figure out,” I sighed.
“Visiting hours end in 5 minutes,” a nurse said at the door and kept walking.
“Oh fuck,” Jimin complained, “What took you so long to wake up?”
“Next time I’ll be faster, don’t worry,” he laughed and I punched him playfully on the shoulder.
“Don’t say that. There won’t be a next time! You’re forbidden to die or almost die, understood?”
“Sir, yes, sir!” he joked, making me smile.
“C’mon, we should go,” Namjoon said, “We’ll come back tomorrow to check on you.”
“Try not to miss me too much,” he said as I kissed his cheek.
“I’ll do my best.”

“Now what?” I asked my group of friends once we were outside the hospital.
“Now we go home to rest. It’s a school night, remember?” Joon answered.
“What? No! It’s still early. We should come up with a plan, with some kind of revenge.”
“She’s right,” Yoon supported me, “We can’t just go home after what happened today.”
“We have to hack the security footage of the mall to see if we can find out who’s behind this,” Jimin suggested looking at his brother.
We all went quiet, waiting for Yoongi’s reaction. He has a good reason for why he doesn’t do this anymore and we have no right to force him. He scratched the back of his head and looked around the parking lot. He groaned in frustration and clicked his tongue.
“Tomorrow,” he stared into Joon’s eyes, who nodded, “I’ll go to the shop. Can you give Y/n and Jimin a ride?”
“Sure.”
The three of us got into Joon’s car with an awkward silence stretched between us as he drove home.
“Did you two ever talk about what happened?” I asked in a whisper and Jimin was fast to reply a “no” indicating that this subject was over. Like always. Because like I said before, talking about feelings and emotions wasn’t our thing.
We arrived at Jimin’s house first and I decided to stay. I’m not in the mood to go home and be alone with my thoughts, especially since I knew that my two roommates won’t be there.
