Chapter 5⃣

He looked back at my face.

"Sorry I can't do this"Justin said turning around and leaving.

I went back to school confused.

"Haze!" I screamed at my bestfriend

"What's up" Haze said casually.

I told her everything about what had happened in the parking lot.

Tears started rolling down my cheeks, i shivered at the touch of them.

"Don't cry sweet Bel" Haze said kindly.

Lunch ended and me and Haze got separated because we had to go to different classes.

There he was Luke Smith at the end of the hall ,ugh i hated that guy.

"Hi whats up" I said trying to act casual.

"The sky" He said smirking.

Ugh he was so stupid.

"So do you want to go to Burger King after school?" Luke said confident

"Was the famous Luke asking me to a date?" i asked  mockingly.

"Sure"  Luke said rasing and eyebrow.

"Is it a YES or a NO" Luke said almost screaming .

"Yeah sure" i said.

After school i went to BK.

I can't believe i was waiting for him.

"So, you really were waiting for me"Luke said.

"I thought you didn't like me and thought I was a jerk "

"I didn't have anything to do,and you were my only option to get out of the bored zone". I said trying to cover the fact that this was ackward

"Yeah whatevs"he smirked

The rest of the time was us talking about random stuff that I wasn't even interested in.

"So do you want a ride home babe ?"Luke asked.

Don't call me that! " I screamed

"I know you like it " Luke said

"So do you?"

I looked up at the clouds it was about to rain and I couldn't walk home we were too far away.

"Yeah whatever" I tried to sound my coolest.

We were In the car . I looked to the car's window and it had just started raining. It was 7:00 I could barely see the sun there was only darkness.

It was tense in the car. I glanced  at Luke his eyes were on the road.

"Sooo " I tried to break the silence.

"I know you like him "Luke said coldly.

"What, I don't know what you're talking about " I said confused.

"Am not stupid "He said raising his voice.

"I..."

Shhh.His index finger touched my lips making me shiver.

"I don't want you to get hurt he's older than you much more older"

I got home he opened the door for me.

"But I..."

He looked at me making me shut up.

His eyes met mine and I felt like there was nothing around us.

"Goodnight sweet Bel" He said getting into  the car and leaving.

The next day all I had on my head were those words. I don't want you to get hurt. Why did he care so much.

"Hi Bel !"A really happy Haze was in front of me.

"What's up " I said

"OMG! You're not going to believe it. "Haze said grinning.

"What happened " I said jumping.

"Okay let's sit down." Haze said leading me to a bench.

"I have a... "

The bell rang ,ugh stupid bell now I don't know what she has.

"See you in lunch."Haze said waving her hand at me and running to class.

I was walking down the hall when I felt somebody tap me on the shoulder.

"Hi babe."It was Luke.

"What do you want? " I asked

"You" He smirked.
