Indigo softly creaked the front door of Luna's apartment open, trying not to disturb anyone at these early hours. The welcoming scent of coffee hit her nose as the warm air pushed from inside. She immediately noticed Duck sleeping on the couch in a twisted, seemingly uncomfortable position, with his lengthy limbs wildly arranged.
"Indi?" A soft voice hummed from the kitchen as she pushed her way through the door frame entirely. "Hi". Indigo smiled weakly, her smile was genuine, but she was truthfully just exhausted still.
Luna returned the grin, but couldn't ignore the confusion in the back of her mind; "Not that I don't love to see you, but why are you here? I thought you chose to get admitted".
"Yeah, uh no, I checked out this morning and set up an appointment with a therapist closer to home". Indigo wasn't a liar, she rarely ever even bent the truth, but if it would put her friends mind at peace then it was worth it. Plus, she wanted to avoid any further questions.
"Oh did you take an Uber? You could've asked me to pick you up". She sighed, moving into her arms, Indigo smiled at the familiar warm scent of honey and strawberries. Despite her general dislike for physical affection, she'd never turn down one of Luna's embraces. She was such a good friend, Indigo couldn't help but wish she'd met her sooner.
"Yeah, but you do enough for me, its okay, and besides, I needed a bit more time to think alone".

Indigo laid her head in Luna's lap, allowing her to twirl individual curls around her fingers as they half- watched whatever black and white movie played on tv. It wasn't at all interesting, but it meant being in each other's presence. It was finally the afternoon and they'd spent every minute cuddled up in Lunas bed, watching cheesy movies, talking over the entire film.
"Promise you'll come back again? Regardless of what happens between you and Duck or Corpse, or any of the others, come back for me, and I swear if you don't want to see them I wont even let them know you're in town. There's so much we didn't get to do yet". Luna asked, gently combing her lavender acrylics through her hair.
"Of course, dummy, just because the boys here are dumbasses doesn't mean I'll never see you again... hey, when I graduate, we should go on a vacation together".
"Ooou really?" Luna squealed, she'd already traveled many places, but it was always either alone or with family, she loved the idea of having a friend to do everything with.
"Yeah, would be fun, we should go to Japan, or something".
"I've actually always wanted to visit, but my family never cared to".
"I've barely visited the states, so it'll be something new for the both of us". She smiled softly, her eyes were growing heavy once again as Luna continued to play with her hair. She truthfully was dozing off a bit, despite her want to continue talking.
"Luna?" Duck called out, knocking on the other side of her bedroom door, apparently he'd finally woken up. Indigo was afraid to talk to him, she never got a chance to in the hospital, because she was nowhere near in the mood for more drama, and even now she was still on the fence about talking to him period. As much as she didn't want to, Luna agreed to drive her home tomorrow, so if Corpse had gotten a goodbye, Duck deserved one as well.
"Sorry, I honestly kinda forgot he was still here, you want me to tell him to go home?" Luna asked, in a quiet enough voice for only Indigo to hear.
