(General Story idea)
The king of a empire that's known for its kind and peaceful
rulers suddenly declares war on
it's neighboring kingdom.
The prince and heir to the throne
is just as shocked as his empire
when war had been announced
on what had been the eve of the
summer solstice, the kingdom's
most powerful time. This kingdom
was the protector of a ancient sun
dial that could control the sun itself
on the first day of the summer
solstice. So declaring war the day before it's most powerful
weapon could be yielded was dangerous. The morning of the
first attack was meeting with
confusion and complete outrage
from the king. This was because
as it turned out the sun dial had
been stolen from the king. No one
but the prince knew
where it was. His personal butler
and secret lover had stolen it and
had suggested running away to
the kingdom the King had planned
to attack. Soonly after however
the two had learned that no one
in the castle would be able to
leave the castle.
