"Ok Mom I got everything ready." I say. I'm about to leave. "Wait up, Hailey Jones. I need a hug." Dad comes up to me. "Yeah." Mia, my little sister says. I hug my family. I grab my bags. "Honey, you want a grilled cheese before you go?" Mom asks me. "Um, ok." I say.

I eat my grilled cheese. Now I wanna go. "Honey, you want some more food?" Mom comes up to me. "Guys, stop keeping me back! I can do this!" I say. "But we're just scared you'll get panicky and stuff." Dad says to me. I nod. "Dad, I'm not a baby anymore. I'm 11." I say, sorta rolling my eyes. "You're right. You are older. And we need to stop worrying all the time." Mom says. "Thank you." I say. I feel okay. I'm excited to go to this camp. It's an art camp. I love sketching, and that's art.

I feel like calling Janie. Oh what am I thinking? Janie used to be my best friend until she ditched me for Laura Carrie. Janie promised me we'd be besties forever and ever, but she broke that promise. I'm not surprised. She did break lots of promises.

"Ok bye." I say. "Bye, Hailey" My family says to me. I need to run to the recreation centre. I live super close to there, but I'm late. The bus will leave. I get my bags and run. I run out of breath, but I have to keep running.

Finally I catch the bus. I sit in the middle left. I grab one of my sketchbooks. I start sketching the bus and all the people in it. I took sketching classes since I was three. I've gotten pretty good since then. I look down on my pants. I just stare, and stare, and stare. I just wanna get there. I am just excited. "Raindrops." I mumble. Raindrops are pattering down the window. I just look. I keep on sketching. Then I take my phone and listen to my music in my AirPods and use my sketching app to sketch.

I think we have to share one cabin with a bunch of people. I like having my own cabin, but I have to share. I just wanna be alone in this camp. But I have to make friends. I'm still on the bus, but I was guessing. I keep on sketching.
