Yes! I got my message

Yes! I got my message. I put my sketchbook down. I put my sketchbook in my Adidas bag. I wanna scream for some reason. But I don't. Mom wants me to make friends at this camp, but the only reason I'm going to the art camp is to sketch and draw. Just to have fun. Not make friends. I just wanna be myself at the art camp.

"Welcome. Welcome everyone. You are here to have fun! Now I'm pretty sure you all got your messages of which cabin you are in. Raise your hands if you didn't get your message and I'll send it to you." The director, Alina Noorani, says. A couple of kids raise their hands. "Okay. Thank you." Alina says as sends messages. "Now I sent them. Ok. I know I said you are only here to have fun, but there are a couple of other reasons. Make friends! Do what you like! Remember, this art camp is not about all about painting, drawing, and sketching. It is also about acting. Music! Karate! Martial Arts. Taekwondo! Enjoy the summer!" Alina continues.

I hated that she said make friends. I don't want to. I'll secretly not make friends. "Ms. Alina Noorani?" I call out. "Yes, Ms. Hailey Jones?" Alina answers. "Where are the cabins?" I ask. "I was just getting there. Cabin 1 is on the very left. Cabin 2 is in the left middle. Cabin 3 is right middle. Cabin 4 is far right." Alina answers. "Thank you!" I yell. Alina nods. I now know.

I see something. It says: Cabin 2 - Kara and Stella. They must be the counsellors for my cabin.

I drop my bags next to one of the bunk beds. "Oh. You can go to the top if you want." A kid offers me. "Oh. Um, no thanks. You can go on the top." I say. The kid goes up. I'm just scared of the top because one time, I was sleeping over at Janie's when I was seven, then I fell onto Janie and hurt myself badly.
