Richie finally had his dream car. It was a red convertible Mustang MY18. He grins at Eddie as they drive with the top down, on their way to Richie's parents. They were staying with them for a few weeks whilst their bathroom and kitchen were renovated. Eddie's hair is flying wildly in the wind, but not as much as Richie's is. Eddie chuckles lightly and then Richie pulls into his parents garage, parking his mustang beside his dads old Ford Fiesta.

The two get out, carrying their bags in. They can hear Maggie and Wentworth talking in the kitchen. Eddie had only been to Maggie and Wentworth's three times and he'd never stayed over night. He hadn't even seen Richie's bedroom. Richie opens the door that leads into the laundry room, the family dog running toward him.

"Hey Bear!" Richie gasps, abandoning his bags by Eddie's feet and dropping to his knees to pet the small brown Pomeranian. Bear was only two years old and super hyperactive. They'd gotten him after their old dog Bruno passed. He'd been 19. They'd gotten him just after Richie had moved out, Maggie missing having Richie around. Wentworth had suggested a dog and Bruno had also been hyperactive.

"Rich? Is that you?" Wentworth calls out.

"Yeah." Richie says as he pets his dog with a smile. Eddie grins awkwardly, not being too fond of dogs. The Tozier's house was very cozy and homely and Eddie wondered what it was like growing up here.

Richie stands back up, grabbing the bags he'd dropped, and the two walk through the hallway and into the kitchen, Eddie's eyes going to his favourite photo of Richie in the whole house. It was similar to Richie's favourite photo of Cecelia. In it, Richie's one and a half, his curls only really starting to grow. He's grinning from ear to ear, showing two front teeth— like a little bunny. He's covered in spaghetti sauce. Eddie smiles and follows Richie and Bear into the kitchen.

Sat at the table are Maggie and Wentworth, drinking some coffee, Wentworth smoking a cigarette. He didn't smoke too often any more but he'd occasionally have one, often with Richie. Curled up on the table by Maggie is their old white Siberian cat, sleeping as Maggie pets her. Her name is Pip and she was around 16. Richie'd had a pet cat growing up but he'd passed away at the start of Richie's junior year. He was also a Siberian cat and he was called Sonic. It'd hurt when he'd passed but Maggie and Wentworth got Pip a few years later.

"There they are." Maggie says with a grin. It never failed to amaze Eddie just how much Richie looked like his mom. He'd also concluded that, although Richie got on well with both of his parents, he was a mommas boy. He instantly grins at his mom, walking over and kissing her cheek gently.

Richie looked like Maggie and acted like Wentworth, the perfect blend of the both of them. The only difference is that, Richie got his dads blue eyes, his dads glasses, his dads hair texture and colour. Everything else to do with Richie's facial feature was Maggie all over. They had the same nose, the same lips, the same face shape, the same ears, the same goofy smile. He even had her height. Wentworth was 5'10 and Maggie was 6'0. Richie was only an inch taller than his mom.

"Hello, Eddie, how are you after everything a few days ago?" Wentworth asks, referring to the passing of Eddie's mother.

"I'm doing okay." Is all Eddie responds with. He doesn't know how to answer. He'd never really gotten on his with mom until that one last day she was alive. She probably made amends with him to pass away in her sleep, guilt free. Eddie winces that thought off. That was cruel, he had to remind himself.

"Need help with dinner, mom?" Richie asks with a grin. Maggie smiles at him, but doesn't answer his question. Instead, she places a gentle hand under his chin to examine the stubble there.

"You need to shave and you need a haircut." She states and Richie rolls his eyes with a goofy grin." You are just like your father."

"Are we forgetting that time I tripped over when I was five because my hair was in my eyes?" Richie asks and Maggie chuckles slightly. The whole scene is warming Eddie's heart. Little orphan Eddie Kaspbrak, getting jealous of his fiancé's relationship with his parents. Maggie and Wentworth look at their son like he's their whole world.
