Ray never caught up to you, in the end. And since he was in a separate classroom that you, he couldn't just barge into there just to talk to you. But through the window, he could see you sitting calmly in your seat. That's when he realized how he'd destroyed such an independent person, a nice girl.
No, he didn't want to be in a relationship with you, though he still liked you. He knew his place. All he wanted was to form a friendship since he ruined the previous chance he had. Ray wouldn't ruin it, at least not this time.

"I guess that's all of the school," Atsumu shrugged as they reached the main hall. "Lunch starts in about a few minutes-" The bell rung through the school. "Lunchtime."
"Ok so what do we do at this time? Or let me rephrase that, what do you guys do during this time? Like, Y/n and the rest of you."
"Well usually we'd all go to class 1, but now that Y/n disbanded into another class... I really don't know. But let's go get our bags and put them back."
As the two of them went to their class, you were in your own homeroom, still working on a few things. When you finished, you decided it'd be better to go outside this time, take a break from being inside.
Thankfully, you didn't run into anyone. You avoided Class 1 and 2 at all costs. After your encounter with Atsumu, you felt completely embarrassed. It was barely even the first day.
After Atsumu and Lina got their things situated, they went straight to Class 1. In Atsumu's case, he was hoping you were in there with the rest of them, but no. As they walked in, Suna was going out. He seemed in a rush.
"Hey man, where are you going?" Atsumu stopped him, but Suna looked down the glass windows to see the outside. When he saw who he needed, he walked away.
"Sorry, can't hang with you right now. I've gotta talk to someone," he waved him off and began running down the hall.
"Is he always weird?" he heard your cousin say from beside him.
"Whaddya mean 'is he always weird'?" Atsumu was intrigued.
"Well, when I was at Y/n's house, she went to the bathroom, and then, he also went to the bathroom. Then when they came back, they came out of the same room. Y/n's room to be specific.
Atsumu's heart dropped, and he tried to think positive. "N-no, he's not always weird. I wanna know what's up with that bitch. Come on, tell Samu and Kai to come down. Tell'em I'm gonna buy us food, and they need to come down."
"Sure..." Lina entered the room and walked over to the two of them.
Meanwhile, Suna walked out through the double doors and spotted you in the exact same place he had seen you. You were spaced out, looking at the ground and leaning on one of the pillars of the school.
He walked up to you, but you still didn't notice until his shoes were in your peripheral vision. That's when you lifted your gaze to see him looking straight into your eyes.
Atsumu was now at the window, seeing the two of you talk with each other. He noticed Suna basically had you pinned to the pillar, not letting you go until he finished telling you whatever he had to say. And when the others got there, they soon noticed what was going on.
"So... are ya still gonna buy us food?" Osamu was nudged in the ribs by Kai.
"Samu," Atsumu turned around to look at his brother, "Do you know if anything is going on with those two?" He lifted an eyebrow.
Osamu deadpanned, and immediately shook his head side to side. Atsumu brought his attention back to the two of you. Now, you were avoiding eye contact, and you looked sick, pale. He wondered what Suna did to affect you like that.
And when the two of you finished talking, you shook hands and nodded. Atsumu saw a smirk appear on Suna's face and smile on yours. As he was about to walk up to you, Osamu stopped him. But then, a group of girls came up to you. And he swore he heard them say his name. The second time he saw the opportunity to talk to you, you were already being taken away. Atsumu swore his heart dropped as he saw the person who was taking you away. That being none other than Ray.
"Hey what did you talk to her about? What's been going on with you two?" Atsumu asked Suna as soon as he got back to the group.
"It's nothing. I just had to make a little agreement with her."
"Okay but I want to know what it is?"
"Not telling you."
"Just tell me."
"No."
"I swear to God, Suna-"
"Do you really want to know?" Suna smirked at him and chuckled when he saw Atsumu nod, "Alright then, were going out this Saturday."
