"Can we please talk about what happened that night?" Ray never let go of your arm. The look on his face was somewhat filled with want. You looked down to his hand wrapped around your wrist and looked back up at him.

"Let go of me first," you demanded and raised your head.

"So you'll actually talk to me?" he asked, not believing you. Your brain was telling you to say no, to just run away from him. But even so, you still wanted to see what the outcome of this talk would be.

A sigh left from your lips before you nodded, "Fine, but... make it quick would you?" You rolled your eyes and pulled your arm and rubbed on the skin, a red mark from his grip left on it.

"Thank you, Y/n. I've been trying to get to you, but I haven't really found the time to talk about it, or the guts to even face you properly. Since the last time I saw you, it wasn't really my intention to cause you so much hurt. I live with those memories, they're like a burden to me. Y/n, I know what me and my sister did was wrong, but I want to ask you to forgive me," he said. Your eyes scanned his face, and by the looks of it, he truly looked sincere about it. But this is always what happened right? They just apologize and hope to forget about it. Nothing is ever fully sincere.

Your eyes redirected back to him, "I don't know. I'm sorry, what's in it for me? Forgiving you doesn't change what happened. And besides, your sister should be here with you."

The boy shook his head, "No, actually, my sister moved to a different school. Which is why she told me to come tell you. We both are truly sorry."

You didn't really want to waste time. Sure you were a bit ahead already, but it still was efficient to listen to the things the teachers said. Then again, you didn't want to go to class. None of your classmates were familiar to you. "I uhm, I forgive you and everything. Sorry for stalling."

Ray's face lit up and he wrapped his arms around you, "Thank you, Y/n. Maybe we can go to a cafe sometime-"

"Nope, that's enough," you chuckled and fixed your skirt, "I need to get to class. Bye, Watabe."

"See ya, Y/n," he waved with a smile and turned the corner. It seemed like he was being sincere. His eyes held the same crinkle in them as the times you two used to hang out with each other. And you would admit, you were trying to get over Atsumu, but seriously?! With someone like Ray?

And suddenly it seemed like it was a day to bump into everyone, because as soon as you turned the corner, you bumped into no other than Atsumu and Lina.

-

"So you come from where?" Atsumu tried sparking up a conversation with the girl. She looked so comfortable already.

Lina hummed, "Uhhh, I come from Tokyo. I only moved here because I felt like it," he saw her shrug. She truly was a bit opposite from you.

"And your parents let you?" he questioned with a surprised look on his face.

"I mean, my cousin comes here, so I guess. I just wanted to see who this one guy was," she shrugged and kept walking.

"You came here solely for a guy?" Atsumu's facial expression never changed. "Geez, alright then. But like, who's this guy?"

She stopped walking and turned around, "Well obviously I came here to see you," she rolled her eyes playfully, "And don't get too ahead of yourself. Yeah, I came here for you, but that's only because I wanted to know the guy my cousin always talks about. If you haven't caught on yet, I'm Y/n's cousin," she laughed. Atsumu felt his heart stop. Not because of Lina, but because... was he even hearing correct?! You talked about him to other people?! Atsumu was left dumbstruck.

"What?" Lina stopped laughing and tilted her head, "You look like an idiot standing like that. You know that right? Get over yourself. You should know by now that Y/n is completely head over heels for you... Don't you?" she waved her hand in front of his face.

"Ah, uhm, yeah, right," Atsumu looked a bit confused, "Say," he began, "Has she talked about me lately?" he fiddled with his fingers, a bit of pink covered his cheeks, and continued walking to the front of the school.

"Let me think," Lina made a thinking face, "I guess she kind of did. Come on man, like I said, you should know this by now." Her eyebrows furrowed as she began to walk faster.

"Well if I'm being honest-" he got cut off as he ran into someone, "Geez, who even-" He got cut off as he saw you on the floor, a sorry look on your face. But he thought you still looked as beautiful as ever.

"I'm sorry," your eyes widened as you tried to stand up. And as much as you wanted to help him up, you didn't. Your feet scurried off down the hallways. It truly wasn't your intention to leave him on the floor.

But as you left, a bit of hurt was left in your heart. You hated the way that always happened. Though what you hated more was to see Atsumu with your cousin.

No, not in a selfish way. More like you were scared that he'd leave you. Afterall, he had been the one to say he'd wait for you. But with the way that he had blush on his cheeks, you couldn't help but to feel a bit inferior to your cousin. Anyone would feel this way, right?

Atsumu felt a sense of deja vu as he stood up. This exact thing happened the two times they came across each other. Guess the universe has something you two bumping into each other. The only difference was that the last time it happened, you had helped him stand up instead of leaving him behind.

"HEY Y/N!! SEE YA LATER!" your cousin cupped her mouth to shout at you. She chuckled and looked down at Atsumu who was still on the ground, "Gosh, get up loser," she lightly kicked his hip.

The blonde stood up and brushed off his uniform. But right when he thought he was fine again, someone else turned the corner in a rush. "God damn, I forgot to ask her something-" they whispered but got the wind knocked out of them as they crashed into someone else.

And as if Atsumu's feelings couldn't get hurt any more. He looked up to see Ray already getting up, a shitty look on his face. He asked himself why the two of you would come from the same direction. What he didn't know was that you were thinking the same thing about him and your cousin.

"Sorry man, gotta catch up to someone," Ray sent him a sympathetic smile and rushed down to where you went. Lina chuckled as she saw Atsumu roll his eyes.

"Geez, what's up with you, bumping into everyone. Hurry up and let's go," she pulled him up and kept walking, "I don't wanna miss out on the first day, asshole. Get yourself situated and move on." His eyes held a glint of reminiscing. And he absolutely hated the way your cousin reminded him of you.
