POV: Nagisa
"What!?" I exclaimed at the surprising news we were just given.
"I had a feeling this would happen." Karma said with a serious look on his face.
"What!? How!?"
"Kaede always acted different around Nakamura, it was pretty obvious it was love, at least to me, and she couldn't just keep it all in, especially with such a jumpy and energetic nature like hers."
"I still feel like that's a bit of a long shot."
"Guys." Nakamura interrupted, "I came here for advice, not so you two can screw around."
"Jeez, you don't have to be so rude." I mumbled.
"Why us?" Karma asked.
I don't know why, but it always surprises me when he talks because he's directly behind me.
"Because I couldn't think of anybody else to talk to besides Kaede, and that's off limits for obvious reasons."
"What are you even asking? You and Kayano already worked out all the hard stuff, what else could you possibly need?"
"How should I handle it? Accept her and continue to be friends? Pretend like it never happened? Or something else?"
"Why not give it a shot." Karma said with an oddly determined look on his face.
"Give what a shot?"
"Try to date her for a bit and see if you maybe like her back."
"Is that even possible, for me to like her back?"
"I believe it is, don't you."
"Not really."
"And why's that?"
"Because I already fell for someone else."
"And now they're taken, so why not try to fall for someone else?"
"If you really think that's best."
"That's the spirit!"
POV: Nakamura
Is he crazy? There's no way, absolutely, positively, no way.
POV: Kaede (A couple hours later)
Nakamura: Wanna go out on a date tomorrow?
Did I read that right?
Kaede: What do you mean by 'date'?
Nakamura: I mean a date
Kaede: So, like, Animate, the arcade?
Nakamura: No. I mean a date
Nakamura: We're gonna go out to dinner, then a movie, and then maybe we kiss at the end 'kay?
