One of the most intimate things he does for his partner is sharing his music (mostly 90's alt), playing his playlist in a car or putting it on to play in the background when he and his s/o spend time together

Every weekend he makes a point to take his partner out somewhere on a trip. He never tells them where they are going but drops awful hints that are all way too easy not to guess

That one time she borrowed her s/o a sweater and couldn't stop smiling seeing them in it so ever since then she always keeps a spare one around in hopes it happens again, because she's afraid to ask directly dreading being judged for it or ridiculed

If her s/o's work allows it (and they don't have anything against it) she can and will call during the day whether it is to gossip or ask about the other one's day. It's her way of compensating her partner for all the time she spends at work, not being able to pay attention to her love

Paul always thought Ted was annoying and that was it, but Ted in a (first) stable, official relationship? Way worse. Who knows what would happen if he didn't bring up his s/o at least once in a conversation. Endless "Well me and my s/o-" "my s/o says-" drive Paul and the others insane, only Mr Davidson seems to genuinely enjoy hearing those remarks even if Ted is a little shit about it
