He tried the name out on his lips. "What a beautiful name." A small smile appeared on his face. "What does it mean?"

"It doesn't actually mean anything specifically. What do you want? Why are you here?"

"Why do you think I'm here, Demeter?" He cocked his head and wore a sly smirk. "Persephone, she's such a pretty little thing, isn't she?"

     "Jungkook--"

"Any man would be lucky to have her. She's seems so unhappy couped up in that garden."

"That garden is what's keeping her protected. She's just fine in her garden. She's happy. Don't go bothering her."

"Bothering her? Is my presence really a bother?" He was a bit taken aback but, it was honestly nothing new to him.

"I know why you're here. You're not corrupting my daughter."

"I have no plans on corrupting her. Why would I want to destroy someone so beautiful?"

The woman remained quiet as he continued on. "Can you imagine being the guardian of a dreary, depressing and grotesque place such as Hades? It really takes a toll on you. I'm surrounded by death and darkness all of the time. I sit there day in and day out watching souls come and go. It can drive a man crazy. Persephone would make me very happy and I know that she'd make great company for me as my wife."

"No!" She exclaimed with all of the power in her voice. "You're not taking my daughter. You cannot marry my her, I don't care how lonely you get! And don't you dare lay a finger on her." She was infuriated that he even had the gall to ask. "Why don't you get some servant or human girl to be your wife. My daughter is not going anywhere. She's happy right where she is and that's where she'll stay!"

"Demeter, we're both adults here. We could make a compromise."

"No!" She fumed. "Now don't ever come around me again and especially...

... stay away from my daughter."
