I woke up early today since it was back to work day for me and students. I quickly got dressed and fixed up my hair and make up even though I didn't use a ton of make up so it didn't take long. Jack was downstairs, making me and him breakfast before I left to work. Jack said he really wanted to spend more time with me since he felt like it's been a long time since we've been apart. I agreed because well, who wouldn't? I get special attention and don't have to cook, It's great.
I walked downstairs and into the kitchen to see Jack cooking pancakes. I smirked and walked up behind him. Before I could even scare him, Jack spun around and hugged me, picking me up slightly. I frowned as I stared down at Jack as I stayed in his arms. Hey, I wasn't complaining, I loved being in his muscular arms plus, I get to be taler then him, even if it's only an inch taller, it still counts for me only but to Jack, I'll always be shorter then him.
"How'd you know I was behind you?" I asked.
"Babe, I've known you for how long now? I think I can tell when your ready to scare me, especially sinceyou tend to breathe down my neck when you stand on you tip toe" Jack explained, smirking and I blushed.
I didn't know I did that!
"Shut up" I mumbled, looking down and Jack laughed.
"You're so cute" Jack said before placing me on the chair.
Jack finished up cooking and we both ate in silence. I always loved Jack's cooking since we used to be cooking partners in high school but that was before I moved away and changed. Even though we hated each other back then, I had to admit, his cooking was amazing since Lisa's cooking is amazing as well.
"What are you thinking about now sweetheart?" Jack asked.
"About the past" I said and Jack seemed to freeze.
"I thought I told you to stop thinking about the-"
"The past, I know Jack, I meant when we were in high school and we used to be cooking partners" I said, smiling and Jack smiled again.
"Oh yeah, I remember that! We never really like each other so we fought everytime we tried to cook whatever it was we were making" Jack said, laughing at the memory and I laughed at the memory as well.
We would always fight over who got to cook what because we had to do cooking seperate things that we had to mix together later but we'd always disagree with each other and get yelled out by the teacher. I always blamed Jack Reece so she would always give him a detention since she thought I was the innocent one, the one perks of being the goodie goodie back in high school, teachers love you and leave you off the hook, giving your enemy the punishment.
"Do you believe that one day we'd become a couple?" I asked.
"Before you moved, deffinetly no but then you moved back and I got to know you more and I fell in love with you" Jack explained and I half smiled.
"Too bad it took me a while till I could finally have a normal convocation with you without fighting huh?" I said and Jack laughed.
"Oh yeah! All it took was for you to bump into me when you were about to ditch school, weird huh?" Jack said.
"Yeah, it is but I wouldn't have it any other way" I said, smiling widely now and so did Jack. Jack grabbed my hand and pulled me onto his lap. Jack pushed his empty plate back and put my full plate in front of me. Jack started feeding me which was stupid in my opinion.
"What are you doing?" I asked.
"Feeding you" Jack simply said but then he smirked, mischievously. "Unless you want to go upstairs and do something else" Jack said, seductively and I shivered in a good way. A dark blush took over my cheeks at the thought.
