I woke to the sun shinning through the windows and Jack's arms wrapped around my waist, protectively. I turned towards Jack and smiled at his peaceful expression. Ain't I a lucky girl? Yes, I think I am because I chose the right guy this time, I know he'll protect me from the bad and he'll show me the happiness in life, I'm glad I met someone like Jack in my life or I wouldn't be here today, engaged to the guy who stole my heart, I know sappy but you'll be saying this one day when you meet the right guy! Just saying.
"Are you watching me?" Jack asked, his eyes still closed. My eyes widen and I blushed as a smirk spread across his lips.
"I-I didn't know you were a-awake" I stuttered but then Jack pulled me closer so our noses were touching and opened his eyes.
"I could feel your eyes on me" Jack said.
"Really?" I asked sarcastically, rolling my eyes.
"You were thinking about something, what is it?" Jack asked.
"It's nothing, trust me Jack" I lied.
"Amy, I know you better then anyone else, now spit it out sweetheart" Jack demanded and I sighed in defeat.
"I was thinking about us and how lucky I am to have you in my life" I admitted and he smiled. Jack cupped my cheek and we rested our foreheads against each other's.
"I'm lucky to have a girl like you in my life, you make my life complete" Jack said, truthfully. All I saw was love and adoration in his eyes and I smiled. I glanced at the digital clock behind him and my eyes widen.
"Oh shit! I'm late for work!" I shouted as I pulled away from Jack's arms and quickly got out of bed.
"I have to hurry up now" I mumbled. I ran towards my closet and threw it open. I glanced around my closet for something to wear till Jack wrapped his arms around my waist and I froze.
"Jack, let go of me, I'm already late" I said.
"Can't you just call in sick?" Jack whispered in my ear and I shivered.
"I shouldn't" I shook my head.
"Oh come on, where's the bad ass Amy I know and love" Jack said. I thought about it before smirking and taking out my phone and dialling the schools number.
"Hello" Mr Winston said, he's the principal.
"Yes" I said before fake coughing. "This is Amy Prescott *cough* I'm calling in sick today" I faked a sneeze so he'd believe me.
"Oh no! Well I hope you feel better, I'll get Miss Fox to take over your class" Mr Winston said, falling for my fake sickness. I faked another sneeze and sniffed.
too easy
"Thank you, bye" I said, quickly before hanging up and tossing it behind me, on the bed. I turned around and pushed Jack onto the bed with me straddling his waist. I smirked and so did Jack.
"Happy?" I asked, still smirking. Jack reached up and cupped my cheek.
"Very" Jack said before pulling me down and kissing me. I kissed back and Jack took this moment to flip us over so that he was straddling my waist now. We pulled away and smiled.
"I guess it's just us two today" Jack said.
"Wait, don't you have work?" I asked.
"Nope, I got a day off today so now we've got the whole day to ourselves" Jack said, smirking mischievously.
"Of course only you Jack, only you" I said as I shook my head.
"You love me" Jack retorted.
"I know, that's why I'm marrying you idiot" I said, smiling.
