Todoroki smiled, knowing that Midoriya could wake up at any time.
Recovery Girl looked at Midoriya and looked at his monitor and her small eyes seemed to go extremely wide. She'd frozen as if a ghost left a shiver on her back.
"Is it..a miracle..??" Recovery Girl said, Todoroki looked up at her and blinked in confusion.
Recovery Girl smiled and clapped her delicate, small hands.
"His vitals are starting to even out!" Recovery Girl exclaimed. Todoroki smiled and looked straight at Midoriya. Midoriya slowly opened his eyes and moved his head a little bit. Todoroki teared up and walked out the room to cry tears of joy. Ashido walked past with Uraraka and they saw Todoroki.
"Todo? What's wrong..? Is..is Deku dead!?" Uraraka said, dropping her flower and her eyes starting to widen.
"No..he's..he's out of his coma.." Todoroki said, wiping his cold tears and smiling. Ashido ran in the room and then next to Midoriya's bed.
Midoriya's vision was a bit blurred but he was able to see that it was Ashido. Ashido smiled at Midoriya and gently hugged him, knowing he'd be fragile. Uraraka went inside as well and handed Midoriya a pretty dandelion.
Midoriya slowly grabbed it and held it next to himself.
The day was filled with class 1-a and even other classes coming to see Midoriya and giving him flowers and candy and cards.
TODOROKI POV
I will confess to Midoriya..
I held out a small box that held a new pair of hearing aids. I wanted him to hear everything. I want him to hear me confess to him. I want him to hear every word, through and through.
BACK TO 3RD POV
Nearly a week later, Midoriya was able to have clear vision and was able to put hearing aids in to hear everyone again. He was able to eat his food and function normally. Midoriya sat in his bed and ate his dinner as Todoroki walked in the room.
"Hey..Midoriya.." Todoroki said, smiling nervously. Midoriya looked up and smiled.
"What's up Todoroki?" Midoriya asked
"Haah..~ Nothing much..I just need to tell you something.." Todoroki said, wiping his sweaty hands on his pants.
"What is it?" Midoriya asked.
"Ehm..well hah..it's kinda hard to say but uh..I really, really, REALLY like you..and I was yknow..wondering if you liked me back..?" Todoroki said, stumbling over his words.
Midoriya sat his fork down and stayed silent for a second.
"Todoroki..I'm sorry.." Midoriya said in a low voice.
Todoroki looked at Midoriya and played with his fingers
