I watched from the top as my friends performed. I couldn't help but feel the growing smile on my face. Everyone looked so happy together. It was eventually time for me to use my quirk and dazzle the audience.

I sent out streams of water to mix in with the performance, occasionally stopping the droplets and watching as the audience has 'ooh' and 'ahh' watching the bubbles of moving water floating above them.

Then I floated the water up into the ceiling until they disappeared in the air. As the performance ended I smiled lightly. "I'm glad she enjoyed this."

Seeing that Eri had the biggest smile on her face. The curtains closed and I met up with everybody backstage. I went to compliment everyone on their performance and even began to discuss what activities everyone wanted to try out.

This is definitely what I needed, what everyone needed. And to make it even better having my crush compliment on my quirk and its use during the show.

Izuku and I had some time to meet up with Eri while cleaning, and I felt like bursting out crying seeing the way she raved about the performance.

"I'm glad you liked it, Eri," I crouch down so that I'm at eye level with her, she nods excitedly stars in her eyes.

Obviously, Mineta had to ruin the moment, "CARRY THIS!"

"S-sorry!" Izuku takes the piece of ice from him. I roll my eyes in annoyance and bid farewell to Eri and Mirio.

I finally gave up and said 'yes' to Mina who begged me to go to the haunted house with her even after I repeatedly told her "I don't fuck with spirits" and "Remember, it's your fault if I end up punching a student

Yeah... I accidentally ended up fighting a guy dressed as a ghost. We got kicked out.

It was a shame when it came to an end. Before I left, I watched Izuku give Eri a candy apple. After saying goodbye to Eri, everyone was instructed to head back to the dorms. I was about to go and get ready for bed when someone touched my shoulder.

"Azusa, I gotta tell you something."

The pain behind those blue eyes. And the face of someone who stared in the face of death more times than she wanted to admit.

And yet, there's something beneath all that when they look at her. Their hand touches her cheek, bringing her face close to theirs.

They both close their eyes as their lips touch, they both imagine the same thing: that they were just two awkward teenagers meeting on the school rooftop after classes to kiss. Sure, they would never have that, but maybe they can have this.
