~Rosie~
"Jesus Christ, ow??" I complained as Lilith whacked me with a wooden sword.
"What? You knew I was going to hit you with it."She rolled her eyes.
I rubbed my sore arm, "Yeah, but I didn't think you were going to do it so hard." I complained.
"Block it next time then." She said bluntly.
"Again." Raegan commanded.
I sighed as both of us got back into fighting position. Lilith was armed with a wooden sword and a shield while I was armed with nothing but my magic and fists. No werewolf or vampire abilities allowed.
Lilith yelled as she charged me with her sword in the air and shield in front of her. My eyes glowed purple as small purple balls grew in my hands. I quickly dodged her attack and threw a ball of energy into her back, causing her to stumble. She quickly turned around, swinging her sword dangerously close to my face. I ducked underneath her attack, but before I was able to think of a spell to conjure, she whacked me with her shield, sending me to the floor.
I groaned as I lifted myself up from the ground, "That's gonna leave a bruise." I sighed.
"Again." she instructed for the second time.
"Now hold on, I don't see how this is-" I began complaining, but before I could finish, Lilith hit me in the side with her sword.
I gave her a death glare, but all she did was shrug with a smug look on her face.
"What isn't fair about this, Rosie?" Raegan sighed.
"Well, she has a weapons to defend herself with, I got nothing." I responded.
"You have magic." she corrected.
"Only 6 months worth of training." I rolled my eyes. "I only know the basics"
"And that's 6 more months of training than Lilith." she reasoned.
"Yeah," Lilith said with her hands on her hips. "and that energy ball hurt." she pouted, mimicking me. My nostrils flared with anger as I flung another energy ball toward her, hitting her in the shoulder. "Ow, bitch!" she yelled.
She quickly recovered from the attack as she charged me with her super speed. Panicked, I quickly grabbed her swinging sword by the blade, stopping it from hitting my face. Lilith tried to pull it free, but I didn't let go. Instead my hand glowed red and the wooden sword caught fire, making her drop it immediately. Lilith quickly created distance between us and we both got back into our fighting stances.
I stood with fireballs forming in my hands while she held she shield up to protect herself. I attacked first by throwing a fireball toward her, which she deflected with her shield and sent back to me. I ducked allowing the ball to go over my head and scorch the wall behind me. As I stood back up, Lilith rushed me. She swung her forearm out in order to hit me with the shield, but I blocked the attack with my arm and hit her exposed chest with a fireball, sending her back in a ball of smoke, hitting the wall with force.
Lilith's eyes glowed red when she opened them again and sped from the floor to me, hitting me full force with her shield, sending me to the other wall. She sped over to me again and stood over me with the shield over her head, ready to hit me with the edge. She used all of her strength to bring it back down at lighting speed, but I stuck both my arms out in front of me, catching the shield before it could make contact with me. My arms shook as I struggled against her strength. She was able to push down on me with her whole body while I had to fend her off with just my arms.
As my grip was about to slip on the shield, my hands glowed red again as a wave of fire shot out of them, blowing the shield out of both of our hands, and nearly scorching Lilith's hair in the process.
