Beach - Skephalo

The sun has set on the beach leaving the sky littered with stars.  Waves crash gently against the soft California sand.  A small breeze occasionally bursts through the air giving the March night a slight chill.  There aren't many people around the secluded beach, just Skeppy.

He had come back to LA to visit some of his friends but once again found himself at the beach he had turned to just over a year ago.  Being outside helped clear his head, the rustling of the leaves, and the soft splash of the ocean.

Sure he enjoyed being around his friends, he was an extrovert after all but there was something refreshing about being alone outside.

He had never liked the beach, it always felt so barren and desolate.  The ocean felt unforgiving, which was not at all what he wanted.  Yet he flocked to the beach as a safe haven when he felt alone at the LA apartment.

Skeppy sighed.  His hand wrapped around his phone as he itched to call his best friend Bad.  I shiver ran down his spine as a gust of wind blew around him.  Sand swirled around his feet, buried deep into the cool, dry sand.

He lifted his phone just slightly out of his pocket, willing himself to call Bad, or anyone to come pick him up.  The last thing he wanted right now was to be alone.

"Skeppy?" a voice behind him called out.  It was Bad.  "Skeppy are you ok?"

Skeppy didn't even realize he was crying until he was wiping the salty tears off of his face.  Of course bad noticed, he always does.  It could have been obvious by his body language though.  His hunched shoulders, shaking with silent sobs, or his forlonging expression as he stared silently into the dark of the ocean.

Bad steps forward, wrapping his arms around Skeppy's waist, holding their bodies tight together.  The weight grounded him as he comes down from his thoughts.  Bad centers him and Skeppy leans down, placing his head on Bad's shoulder.
