The world was very different from what she had known about it from a few hundred years ago. She walked through the metallic, yet soft, floor of the world as she knew it. The landscape was empty, say for the odd metallic flower. While walking around she found some of the androids that had forced this world to this way. She hid behind the building to wait them out when she noticed they were dragging something with them. It was another person. She prepared herself and used her connection to fire to propel herself at a high speed towards them. She melted the soft, yet tough, metal of the androids and she took the kid off of the remaining androids. "who are you?" the young kid asked. "my name is sunstone. What about yours?" sunstone asked back. The young child hesitated before responding "emerald." "do you have any parents?" "I did." Emerald explained and sunstone took it upon herself to raise this child, and to train him. To prepare him, and this didn't go unnoticed by the figure in the shadows. The figure would have smiled if he had a mouth and slinked off to start his big plan.
