Jennika:
I set intention as I was walking, while enjoying the summer sunset. The staircase was steep, and I positioned my feet sideways during descent. I bent to remove my sandals, in order to ensure a grip on the sandy wood, it was then that I felt the freedom needed to be siezed. From the top view I could meditate on the fact that I was alive, nothing more and so simple. The panorama was of burch trees with waving green leaves. Aligned with my center focal view, was my sister. Gracie continued towards the ocean, the pure white sand had just met with her feet. There was a feeling of divinity in the way that moment was, and that's why I decided to stay. I sat down, set my shoes and bag next to me and recognized the sweet melody of nature. The humming and continuous display the breath of life. From there further aback, I saw the whole picture, and I admired.
I was aware that every place I'd been and every road I travelled, led to there. I reflected my entire existence in such a fragment of time. To start with what I knew, I began to get comfortable. I was breathing in, accepting the atmosphere, and recreating the sussuration of my past. I positioned my arms onto my knees, and gazed.
The luminous beach was saturated by a melding combination of orange, pink and peach. The Lord's canvas.
Gracie further onto the beach then before, turned towards me, "Jen!" she hollered. With her arms wide and almost gathering the moment, she was embracing the air. It was warm out, and the humidity of the night was comfortable. The phonics of the ocean waves fascinated me, and I desired to get closer. As I lifted each vertebrae, the faint sound of creaking wood reminded me I was sitting on the stairs. As I began to stand, I quickly glanced back at the person who was jogging down the steps. With a second look, it seemed as if she recognized me first. We went in for a reuniting hug.
