Felix was restless the whole day. One particular scene playing in his head over and over again. After the dance competition how did he threw himself on Changbin and how did the boy cage him in his arms and lift him up...
He felt high. Both metaphoricly and physically as he was lifted up. The feeling of flying and no way that he could fall.
But he also felt himself falling. Deeper and deeper with every second. And Changbin seemed to have no intention to notice and catch him finally.
So he found himself walking towards Minho's home the third time this week. And it was only Friday. They had a dance practice later anyway so they could go together.
His limbs felt heavy his head dizzy and his vision blurry as he dragged himself towards the familiar house.
"Lix" Minho's voice was soft as he let the boy in. "Hey, there little one. What's wrong?" he pated the smaller's head. Of course he didn't need an answer.
They walked into the living room and sat on the couch where Felix just threw himself in his hyung's arms with a heavy heart. Minho rubbed his back gently. Chan appeared in the doorframe.
"Hey, there" he spoke silently. He didn't question the scene just approached the two, sat beside them and pulled them both in a hug.
They remained in that position for who knows how long. Untill the trembling Felix calmed down in their embrace. Only because he fell asleep. Chan looked at Minho.
"It can't stay like this" He shook his head.
"I know. But I promised that I won't tell anything. But it doesn't look like that they will find a solution any time soon." Minho sighed.
"We really should do something" Chan stated.
"I'm thinking about it since Felix appeared on Monday." Minho slowly stroked the boy's cheeks lovingly. "But everything that came to my mind seemed too obvious."
They sat there in silence for a while. Minho's hand not leaving the boy's locks. Untill his fingers brushed through Felix's forehead. He gasped quietly.
"I think he has fever" he looked at Chan with blooming worry in his eyes. His palms now pressed against the freckled boy's skin who in fact had fever. His breath heavy and he started to mutter small words that were incoherent and low at first but became clearer later. Although it wasn't hard to figure out that he was calling Changbin's name in the first time.
"I have had enough" Minho shook his head as he stood up lifting Felix up too in the process. The boy clung onto him like a koala. "Call Changbin!" he ordered Chan.
"What do you want me to say to him?" Chan asked back as he stood up too.
"Nothing but the truth" Minho smirked. "That his love's here in fever, and calling his name"
Changbin spent the whole day in his studio. He decided to put an end on his dilemma. He felt like he can't hold his feelings back anymore. One particular scene playing in his head over and over again. After the dance competition how Felix threw himself in his arms and how the boy's petite frame felt just right in his embrace as he lifted him up.
So he was about to confess but he wanted to make it as perfect as it could be.
Usually it took him a couple of days to write lyrics that he was satisfied with. But with his head full of thoughts about Felix it took him only an hour and a half to write the whole song.
Oh yes. He was writing a love song to the freckled boy. To his little sunshine...
A phonecall interrupted his thoughts about how Felix would react. It was Chan. Since they both produced music they became close quickly and it wasn't rare that they called each other to discuss some "work issue" as they called it.
