Am I strong enough for you
The now current or new flame pillar made his way to the headquarters for the semi annual meeting of the pillars. He had been a pillar for about a year almost. A young man with an a amazing talent of the sword.
Kyojuro Rengoku the eldest son of Shinjuro and his late mother Ruka.
The swordsmen adorned a smile recognized easily by his comrades.
He walked their and waiting patiently for his fellow to appear.
Soon the two sister pillars came. Kanae and Shinobu Kocho. Shinobu was younger than Kyojuro by about three years. Being one of the weaker pillars but skilled in technique and speed. Following her is her elder sister Kanae. Who was only a year younger than Kyojuro.
"Kocho-chans! How are you two this fine day?" The insect pillar stayed quite with a stern face. The flower pillar just smiled and started a chit chat with Kyojuro.
Kanae liked Kyojuro due to his personality. Him being hopeful and courageous. It reminded him of her brother.
The one she had not seen I almost two and half years. Getting to almost three in the upcoming fall.
He was sent on a mission as one of the stronger pillars to investigate the red light district and a village that may be harboring an upper moon. Most likely 2.
She had not seen any sign of him in those few years. It was then soon he had died.
But her being herself and keeping her brothers legacy living by his policy to treat others with the kindness all people deserve. Also keeping care of her younger siblings.
Before the mission he had adopted a young girl named Kanao. Training her and taking care of her until he had to leave.
Now Kanao was still his tsugoku, passing final selection a while back. Still believed her brother was alive.
The sound and love pillar appeared. The love pillar rushing to hug the two sisters and her mentor Kyojuro.
The sound Pillar, Tengen Uzui became friends with Kyojuro fairly quickly. Seeing how they both were loud and in his own words. 'Very flamboyant.'
Others including the Stone and Mist pillars had arrived and started to talk. The water pillar, Giyu and the serpent pillar coming in opposite directions. The Serpent pillar scowled at him behind his back. Having a pure dislike for the water user. For an unknown reason.
The only pillar missing is the wind.
Also of course to Kanae, the Winter Lotus pillar. Her brother.
Then a kakushi came with a boy who was tied up, him being the one of few reasons for the meeting.
A boy protecting a demon. It was reported during Kanaes and Shinobus mission. Followed by the water pillar. Also of that knews he was too being put on notice for stopping the insect pillar from doing her job. So he too broke corps rules.
The boy who learned now name is Tanjiro, and Tanjiro was being yelled at by a Kakushi to be quite in the presence of the pillars.
"Oh, dear maybe we should wait and ask-"
"Nee-san! We are in every right to handle it right now! He broke the rules and protected one for those creatures. He should take punishment!" The insect pillar said in rebuttal.
Ever since her brother was pronounced dead. She took it to heart to defeat and kill the demon who did it. Shinobu felt like a part of her life was taken away when Oyakata-sama told them the news. Of course in private to not worry the others of a loose.
Kanae felt her heart hurt. She knew her sisters feeling about the demons. Now having only the two taking care of Kanao and making replace of their brother being head doctor of the ward.
The pillars conversed on how they should kill the child but then.
"You must be the moron slayer who's protecting a dam demon?" The wind pillar arrived.
His sword in hand, Shinazugawa was acting out if hand. Once more. He also knew the winter Lotus Pillar. Due to him somewhat being his mentor.
He would often come see him and check in since he had numerous scars. So in return for not hurting himself the Winter Lotus Pillar would teach him techniques to advance himself.
"Shinazugawa-san please do not act out of line." He ignored her and began to argue with Tanjiro. Him threatening him about if he hurts his sister.
Sanemi now saying he didn't care and was about to stab the box but something stopped him.
A hand on his shoulder.
"Enough Sanemi."
A deep stern voice. Kind yet hoarse.
He turned to see a set of bright blur sky eyes. Long black hair in a ponytail. Black fading to blue, and a scar from the coner of one eye across his face to the other side if his jaw.
But those eyes spoke sternness.
"That is enough, Master will arrive soon."
The man of myth, his skill almost on par with a upper moon demon. Strength less than the Stone, but just as skilled as the water. Creator of his own breathing style, mixing two he had learned. Defeated 2 lower moons.
The Winter Lotus pillar had arrived.
