We got up at seven so we can have enough time to eat and get dressed and make it to the courthouse by nine, I got up and took a shower once I got out I out on lotion and stuff, then I put on a white t-shirt and grey dress dress dance to match the suit imma put on I put on my white buttoned up shirt but didn't button it up, I grabbed my blazer and tie and went downstairs and seen everyone eating breakfast.
"Morning" I said kissing Talia on the head "morning" everyone said "I see your in a better mood" Kyle said, "well I decided to think positive today, even though the my old friends gonna be there and imma have to testify against them I'm feeling good" I said sitting down. "Ok then" Jaliyah said smiling.
"Well, I just wanna tell y'all that I know Mr. Daniels is gonna bring up everything from the past so don't stress and just answer everything truthfully" Jaliyah told us and we nodded "wait even on me?" Kyle asked and she nodded "especially on you, and they might find out about you know" she said and kyle nodded.
"Well I get it" kyle said "good, now we gotta finish getting ready" she said after we all finished eating, "we can clean up" Talia said and I nodded, "y'all don't have to do that" kyle said "nah, it's cool we got it" I said and they nodded, "ok then we be back" Jaliyah said and her and kyle left me and Talia washed the dishes and put them up and everything, and Talia leaned on the cabinet and I walked in front of her.
"You know I missed you" I said to her "you missed me? I was always here" she said and I nodded "I know, but we haven't had alot of just us time" I said putting my hands on her hips, "I know, maybe we'll have some more time when all this stuff is over with" she said and I nodded "maybe, then me and you gonna be parents" I smiled and she smiled back, "I can't wait to hold her again" Talia smiled "me either" I said.
And I looked at her "what?" She asked laughing and I shook my head and kissed her and she wrapped her arms around my neck kissing me back, I kept my hand on her hips and moving my lower body against hers pinning her to the cabinet.
After a few minutes we heard someone clear they throat, "alright love birds time to come up for some air" we heard kyle say and we broke away from the kiss laughing. "And button up your shirt" Jaliyah told me as I moved away from Talia, I buttoned up my shirt and Talia helped me with my tie and I out my shoes on, and my blazer and we left out.
Once we got to court me and Talia held hands until I had to sent down at the table with Jaliyah, soon the judge came and we started Jaliyah and the dude from yesterday started arguing and making there points talking to the jury and shit, until he asked me to come to the stand I stood up and walked to the stand.
They made me say the oath and stuff and I sat down, "how are you today mr. Parker?" He asked "I'm good, how about you?" I asked and he nodded "I'm good" he says and I nodded, "now from what I heard yesterday, you had nothing to do with what happened the night you was arrested correct?" He asked and I nodded "yes sir" I said and he nodded "will you tell us who don't know what happened happened?" He asked and I nodded.
"So apparently this dude owed trey...the leader of gang some money and since I was with them, I seem everything I tried to tell him not to do it I tried to tell the dude to run, but the dudes that was there wouldn't let him and that's when I grabbed the gun and me and trey started fighting over it....that's how my prints got on the gun" I explained "then before I knew it someone was pulling me back and then I heard gum shots go off and I looked ole dude was dead and we all ran" I said and he nodded.
"So help me understand" he said "so you told him not to do it" he asked and I nodded "yes" I said, "then what happened when you said it?" I sighed and rubbed my hands over my face I took a deep breath to calm down my nerves, " he looked at me and laughed he called me a pussy, and tried to put the gun in my hands I said I don't want it and pushed it away" I shrugged and he nodded and walked to me.
