Kyles pov
Today's the day we move....Well Jaliyah doesn't know it yet, hopefully she's happy with the house. I showered then got dressed I put on a black shirt and red and over it black checkered shirt and black ripped jeans and I out on my tims. I put let my hair down and put on a gold chain then put on a black baseball cap.
I grabbed the bags then put them in my car for later, the made sure it was locked then went back in the house. I looked at the time and seen it was almost time to go to the office, I got my phone and a bottle of water then headed back to the car.
Once I got there I got out and seen the lady, it's crazy cause I never got her name. I walked towards, "Kyle you made it!" She said "of course I would" I said and she lead me to her office once we got there she shot the door. "So how are you doing this morning?" She asked "I'm fine and you?" I asked "I'm great thanks" she smiled. "Ok so, how do you wanna do this you sign the paper first then give me the money or?" She asked,. "I mean I got the check all I have to do is sign it and we good" I said and she nodded.
"Alright then just sign the papers and I'll give you the key" she said and handed me the papers and a pen, "sign here....here....and here" she said pointing to where I'm supposed to sign my name. I read over it and signed my name, "here you go" I said handing her the papers "now you do what you gotta do and imma just do a quick back ground check....just to make sure" she said and I nodded while she was doing that I signed the check and Waited for her.
While I was waiting I texted Jaliyah.
Me: y'all get ready I'm on my way
Jaliyah: damn no good morning or nothing 😭
Me: good morning...now get dressed
Jaliyah: rude for what?
Me: I'm not being rude😭
Jaliyah: mhm
I shook my head and put my phone in my pocket, "ok, everything checks out" she said and I smiled and handed her the check. "Alright, here's your keys and I hope you like your new house" she smiled and I smiled back "thank you have a great day" I smiled and left out.
I stopped to get some food then went to Jaliyah house, I ate my food in the car cause I didn't have enough for everyone, I got out and threw it in the trash then walked in the house. "Heyy people" I said walking in the front room, "hey" Talia said. "Where's Jaliyah?" I asked "tryna get y'all kids ready" Ha'keem said and I shook my head, "imma help but I gotta tell something but don't tell Jaliyah" I said.
"You cheated again?" Ha'keem asked, "damnit Kyle just keep it in your pants" Talia said and I looked at them and hit both of them with a pillow, "what? No! Anyway I brought a house" I said "what?!" They both yelled. "Shut up! See Jaliyah doesn't know but that's basically what I was yesterday" I said and they nodded.
"That's where we going?" Ha'keem asked and I nodded, "is it big?" Talia asked "big and expensive" I said "how much was it?" Ha'keem asked. "Eight grand" I mumbled "you spent eight grand on a-" Ha'keem said and I shushed up.
"Joseph!" Jaliyah yelled and we looked and seen Joseph running out the room butt naked, and I laughed and picked up Joseph "what you doing?" I asked tickling him "you giving Jaliyah a hard time?" I asked and he nodded laughing and I tickled him, "yes you dress your son" Jaliyah said and I laughed, "he's my son when he gets on your nerves" i said "exactly just like you" she said and went in Jayla room.
"She did me dirty" I said "really did" Ha'keem agreed I walked in Jaliyah room and seen his clothes on her bed, I put his diaper on, then his clothes and his shoes. He had a blue nike shirt with gray pants and his white nike air forces, "son you did a haircut" I said and combing his hair a little bit.
