Chapter #1: The Big Day

(Y/N) Pov:

*BEEP BEEP*

I groggily opened my eyes and hear the terrible noise coming from my nightstand. "It is too early for something that annoying", I said attempting to use my quirk to turn off the annoying alarm but failing causing me to have to get up. Once I turned it off I flopped back on my bed and got back under the covers slowly starting to drift back to sleep.

*BEEP BEEP*

"Are you kidding me again!" I shouted becoming more awake. This time I managed to use my quirk and floated my alarm clock out the open window causing it to smash to pieces. I grabbed my phone from the side of my bed and checked the time, "It's only 8 am, alright I've got plenty of time."

A/N: Your quirk will be explained later patience my younglings.

I roll out of bed and put on my uniform for school, it contained a gray jacket, a white button-up, a red tie, dark blue pants, and black shoes. Luckily my dad hadn't gotten you the girl's uniform like he told you he would if you didn't get into the top class at UA. At this moment two things were occurring to me, 1) Where is the old man anyway, and 2)How the hell do you tie a tie? The first one I figured out by seeing a text from him saying he had to leave early for work which I understood, the second one I didn't so I kind of covered it with my jacket to make it seem like an okay knot.

I walked downstairs and grabbed some quick breakfast, being the cliche anime character I am I grabbed some toast and headed off to UA. The school was only five minutes away from my house so I pulled out my phone and started walking. I realized I had gotten another text from someone that wasn't dad. It was from my favorite half and half that I met at the entrance exams. We had both gotten accepted based on recommendations and met each other there. He wasn't much for conversation when I met him but thanks to my friendly aura he seemed to not mind my presence, however, he wasn't much for understanding my humor.

IcyHot: Where are you, my stupid dad dropped me off too early

(Y/N): I'm walking to school right now just because of your text Shoto

IcyHot: Oh I'm sorry I figured you would be here

(Y/N): No Sho it was a joke I'm messing with you, I figured you would be nervous about school so I, yk what nevermind. I'll be there in a few minutes if you can hold out without me for a little while longer.

IcyHot: All of the girls keep staring at me, wait no some of the guys too, please walk faster people will start asking about my father...

(Y/N): Dude you're gonna have half the school wanting you before I get there, hell no, not on my watch, I'll get there even faster now.

IcyHot: Please do

I put my phone into my pocket and started jogging the rest of the way to school, which really only ended up being a street or two but everyone will see how determined I was to get to school, girls like that, right? I jogged over to Todoroki waving at him, but being the moron I am I completely knocked someone flat on their ass by running into them. I stopped and looked over him feeling incredibly sorry for the boy I had just knocked over. He had blonde practically yellow hair with a black lightning bolt in it. I helped the boy I had knocked over up off the ground, my (e/c) orbs met his soft yellow gaze. His stare felt electric into mine, my heart started racing a bit, but I quickly shook my head "it's probably his quirk".

"Hey sorry, I kinda ran into you there, I'm (Y/N) (L/N)" I said to the boy unable to make eye contact out of embarrassment.

The boy reached out his hand and smiled, "Don't worry about it (L/N), names Denki Kaminari Class 1A."

"I'm in Class 1A too oh and you can call me (Y/N) Kaminari," I looked up at the blonde boy whose smile shined brighter than the sun. "Hey, I know someone else who is in our class if you want I can introduce you."

"Just so happens so do I, he was around here but he ran to get his schedule, oh there he is," Kaminari said beckoning a red-headed kid over to us. At the same time, Shoto had managed to walk over to us.

I introduced Todoroki to Kaminari which just was a bunch of silent glances and nods from Todoroki making Kaminari feel awkward. "Don't worry he's usually pretty quiet, don't beat yourself up about it," I said patting the slightly shorter sunshine boy whose smile immediately was brought back.

"Oh, right guys this is Eijirou Kirishima," Denki said motioning to the spikey-haired redhead.

"Wait Kiri is that really you?" I asked.

"No way (y/n/n)?" Kirishima asked.

"You two know each other?" Todoroki asked?

"Hell yeah I know (y/n/n), we were best friends in junior high. I didn't know you were going to Ua I didn't see you at the entrance exams." Kirishima says curiously.

"I wasn't planning on it but Shoto and I here were basically begged to come to Ua so we couldn't refuse," I said nudging the monotonous boy.

"No we didn't we, got in on recommendations (y/n) did you hit your head and forget or something?" Shoto says concerned.

"Todoroki we got it don't worry he's alright," Denki says snickering. "Shoot look at the time we should probably head to class shouldn't we if we want to make it."

"I know where the class is follow me, guys," I said with them walking beside me into the school, which was gigantic by the way. As we walked towards the class I started to become engulfed in my thoughts, "I'm glad I have Todoroki here with me even though we aren't super close it's nice to have someone to talk to. Kirishima has always been with me since junior high although he seems to have gained a lot more confidence since then so that's a great plus for him since he always struggled with that. Denki, well, I don't know a lot about him but he seems like the kind of guy who can make someone laugh and smile no matter what mood their in, plus he has some cool kind of wave quirk cause he manipulated by heartbeats earlier which in itself is cool. I definitely don't want to lose any of them as friends."

We were finally at the door that read "Class 1A" and so my hero life was about the start the second I walked in this door.
