The hype of the game was what is running in Yuta's mind as of now. Although the Japan team won the game with only a point difference, he created two goals for the Korean team which made him the player with the most scored goals in both teams.
"Are you Yuta Nakamoto? The soccer player." The female waitress from the restaurant where they decided to have lunch asked. He nodded which made the girl smile. "Can I get your autograph? You looked so cool yesterday." Surprised, he just nodded. Soccer is a highly regarded sport in Japan yet he was never famous with the locals even if he played for the international team before. "Are you perhaps single?"
Yuta chuckled at the question while signing her notepad. "I'm happily married." Y/N only glanced at him that made him wink at her. His mom just laughed as he handed the paper and pen to the waitress while thanking her.
When their orders came, Y/N stood up to get the two kids who were playing on the slides inside the restaurant. "Have you proposed yet?" His dad asked Yuta that made him shake his head, watching her tower over the kids in the mini playground. "Have you talked about it?"
Yuta shook his head. "I want to wait until she's ready." His mom just stared at him questioning. "When I confessed to her, she just told me that she doesn't deserve me. That I should have dated a single girl with no responsibility." He shared with a frustrated sigh. "But seriously okaasan, she's the one I only want." His parents gave a knowing look at each other. "I don't know how to convince her that I want to spend my life with her."
He stopped then lightly glanced at his parents who were just looking at him while smiling. "Am I doing the right thing?"
"Yuta, you know you're doing the right thing if it makes you happy and you're not hurting others." She explained. "And even in your young age, we know how much you cared about her. How you loved Y/N."
His father tapped his back. "The only thing you can do now is to show how much you cared for the people she loved the most." Yuta nodded, watching Cherry and Jae running to where they were. "Raising kids is tough but it's worthwhile in the end."
Jae sat on the vacant seat beside Yuta's mom while Cherry sat next to his dad. "Oujisan, can we go to that Conan store again?" The younger girl asked while the younger boy asked his obaasan for drinks. Yuta only smiled at Y/N when she sat beside Jae that made her look at him curiously. The guy just shook his head, smiling to himself.
They decided to watch fireworks that night since it's the summer festival and Yuta's parents argued that the best way to enjoy it is by wearing a yukata. Cherry and Jae were ecstatic with the idea that they were the ones who told their obaasan that they wanted to wear one. "Aren't you going to wear one?" Yuta whispered against Y/N's ears, holding her by the waist. She shook her head, letting the kids just experience it since she already wore a kimono before. "Too bad. I wanted to see you in one."
Their talk was disturbed when Jae came running to them outside the dress shop, wearing a white and blue yukata. He looked so cute especially with the sandals he's wearing. "I look like a samurai, eomma." He said with a giggle, even posing like one with his toy sword that his oujisan bought for him. Yuta was chuckling as he kneeled to meet the boy's height, tying the ribbon of his yukata properly.
When Cherry went outside the shop, with a pink yukata and flowers adorning her hair, Y/N gasped. Yuta smiled, they really do look alike. "I feel weird." She said awkwardly but Y/N shook her head saying that she looks really pretty. "You don't want to wear one, eomma?" The older guy gave her a questioning look but Y/N just shook her head.
There were a lot of people as the sun was setting. The two kids had fun scooping goldfishes that Jae cried when Cherry got one and he didn't. In the end, Cherry gave her goldfish to her younger brother. Yuta had to buy her candied apple without Jae knowing so she wouldn't feel bad. It was one shateki booth that Yuta spent a lot of time in since he badly wanted to get the Keroberos plushie for Y/N.
