The legal process for Cherry's adoption is like a breeze. Or maybe Yuta's lawyer, Kim Doyoung, is just too good at his job. Instead of taking a year, it only took Yuta four months to be Cherry's legal guardian. Johnny was cooperative with the legal move, even telling Y/N that it was Yuta's last request to him back in Japan. To adopt Cherry.

The younger girl is so enthusiastic at the thought that she now has someone she calls her real dad that she kept calling Yuta 'appa', 'otou-san', or 'dad' all the time. Everything is just perfect and the way he wanted it.

"Dad, what is your favorite color?" Cherry asked while drawing something on the paper, next to Jae who was coloring with his crayons. It was another busy day for Y/N and luckily, Yuta doesn't have a game or practice so he brought the two to their favorite library.

Yuta looked up from his book then smiled. "Indigo."

The girl nodded. "Jae, can I borrow your indigo?" She didn't let him answer and just took his crayons, getting an indigo color. Cherry started writing her name in hangul, followed by a Nakamoto as a surname using the crayon that made Yuta grin. She's adjusting pretty well.

Jae stood up without a word and started going out of the playroom that surprised Yuta. Where is he going? "I'll just check on your brother." Cherry nodded followed by the words, "Yes, dad" which made him stop suddenly. Why can't he get used to that?

The smile was replaced in worry when he saw Jae seated on the floor outside one of the rooms, bent down. He briskly walked to him, crouching to meet his height. He was crying. "Hey buddy, what's wrong? Are you hurt?" Yuta asked in worry, checking if he got any bruise or wound. Instead of the usual kid who would hug him while crying, Jae refused to look at him. What is wrong?

Come to think of it, Jae had been mostly quiet the past few days but Yuta just shrugged it off since he's still the same with Y/N. "Jae, is something wrong?"

But he shook his head, rubbing his eyes violently to wipe away his tears. "I'm fine." But he's obviously not.

"Do you want to go on a drive with me today?"

"How about noona?"

"I'll ask Mark samchon to pick her up," Yuta said, already typing on his phone. Jae nodded. "What do you want to do today?"

They only waited for Mark to come and pick up Cherry who didn't ask why her dad and brother are going somewhere. His daughter is indeed understanding. Jae was just quiet the whole ride, and Yuta wasn't surprised when Jae asked to go to a soccer field. Of course, it's soccer. And it's fine, as long as he would feel better after this.

Yuta let Jae play with the soccer ball, lightly kicking it first on the goal and he was just watching. This kid has potential in soccer. He's still young yet he's powerful. His kicks got more violent, hitting the goal post that made him annoyed. Something is really wrong. He can easily handle Cherry's outbursts but he wasn't sure if he could handle Jae's.

He started kicking the ball with too much power that he fell down. Instead of crying, he stood up then brushed himself up which stopped Yuta in his tracks. He was rubbing his eyes as he frustratingly kicked the ball which only bumped to the goal post once again. A groan escaped his lips as he ran to where the ball was. "Jae, let's take a break for a while," Yuta said, blocking the ball but he just glared and kept kicking it.

They're now playing against each other. Yuta guarded the ball while Jae desperately tried to escape his defense and kick the ball. The older was surprised when the younger passed him, the ball steadily rolling. He was in front of the goal post when he kicked the ball to the net with too much power that he fell down once again. An improvement. He can be a midfielder now. "I defeated you." The younger said still lying on the ground.
