Hidden Pleasures : sleepover gone wrong

After two days, my cough and colds were finally gone together with my fever and it's all thanks to Somi. I still can't believe that Somi took care of me until I feel better because Minari used to be the one to take care of me but I guess, not this time

Somi stay with me and took care of me the whole time and I'm so thankful she did because I'm actually left all alone in our house. Mom and dad were out of town because of business and they'll be gone for three days

Good thing,Somi came and took care of me. Minari did came too but she just told me and Somi about Jeongyeon and how the latter told her she'll gave her the best birthday ever

She also told me that Somi can just take care of me because she needs to call back Jeongyeon and talk about something important before leaving me and Somi afterwards

I can't help but to feel upset. I'm actually expecting her to take care of me like we always do when one of us is sick and ill but she didn't. I didn't even saw worries on her face at all. It's like she doesn't care about me for getting sick and that made me upset but I'm good now and I just chose to ignore that

Now, I'm here in my art class alone staring at a masterpiece I've done. I've been staring at the finished painting of my bestfriend in front of me. After so many days of working hard for this painting, it is now perfectly done. It's all good and ready to be given

I did put a lot of sweat and effort on this piece. I usually paint animals,places and random stuffs until I made this one. It's my first time painting a person so it means a lot to me not to mention that the painting is Minari

My bestfriend that I secretly love

I carefully put down the painting on the table and gently wrapped it with an elegant gift wrapper that suits Minari's taste before putting it inside a paper bag

"Hey,chaeng"

"Oh,hi Somi?"

She went closer to me and hugged me before checking placing her palm on my forehead

"I'm already good,Somi"

"I'm just making sure okay"

"So,what brought you here Somi? Did you sneek out of your class again just to sleep?"

"Of course not, I came here to check you out hoping you're not exhausting and stressing yourself too much"

I smiled and pinched her cheeks. She's really caring  and sweet person

"That's so sweet of you Somi but don't worry, I'm perfectly good and  fine"

"But not your heart"

I hissed at Somi and pout. Here she is again, making fun of me and teasing me for having a broken heart

"It's not funny Somi"

"Excuse me? I'm not even trying to pull a joke here,Son chaeyoung. I'm stating a fact. I know you may be physically fine but I also know your heart is still breaking inside"

Okay,maybe she's not really intending to pull out a joke or made fun of me but I can't help myself to think like that. She always brought that topic so sometimes I think she's making fun of me

"I can handle it, Somi"

"Do you love her that much?"

"Yeah"

"Don't be too harsh on yourself,chaeng. Open your eyes and look around. There's a lot of people who loves you and there's someone who loves you out there that's willing to take care of you and love you woth all of her heart"
