Chapter 53

Their stay in Venice was really helpful for the friends. They got the rest and break they needed from everything that happened previously. Jeongguk grew closer to Taehyungs parents and they were very fond of the male. Everything was great. They would tour around the flooded city and sometimes even go to nearby cities for sightseeing. Taehyung bought some souvenirs and he even visited the Gucci store and got recognised and stopped to take photos which he didn't deny.

The kids were having fun, eating different snacks, meals and watching different cartoons that didn't broadcast in S. Korea. Christmas went by with their tummies full and smiles with the presents they got. Taehyung suggested that they spend new years at the private beach house they would spend summers back when Taehyung was a kid.

Getting everything ready they traveled up to the country side. An hour or so later they arrived at the beach house. Taehyung took a deep breath with closed eyes. He got the kids out of the car and looked around with a bright smile. They got inside and set their luggage beside the stairs. He walked around touching the furniture and getting memories back from when he was a small kid. He opened the many windows to let fresh air in.

"It's good to be back... I missed this place so much." He spoke looking around the pictures with a small smile. "BAABEEE WHO IS THISSS!?" Jeongguk exclaimed and Taehyungs insides turned. Rushing to the male spotting him looking at one of the pictures made him confused. "What?" Jeongguk then pointed his finger at a boy in one of the pictures that was kissing little Taes cheek. "Who's this?" he asked and Taehyung leaned in looking at the picture better. And his cheeks turned red as he remembered the boy and the day his dad took the photo.

"Ohh... uhh, umm" before he could continue talking, they heard someone calling Taehyungs name.

"TaeTae!!!" a tall man approaches them and hugs Taehyung bringing him in the air and twirling around. "How are you my kimchi?" he asked and kissed Taehyungs cheek. Jeongguk didn't like it one bit and took Taehyung from his arms. "He isn't yours, he's mine." Jeongguk glared at the male who brought his hands over his chest. "Okay okay no need to start a fight."

"Hi Changbin" Taehyung waved in tiny and hugged Jeongguk hiding his face in his chest. "Heeyy, your parents dropped by my place and I decided to drop by and see how are you." Taehyung nodded and finally looked up.

"Yeah we came for a small get away from the city life and drama." Changbin nodded looking over his body and features. "You grew up so well." "Thank you, you too..." it was awkward when one of their miracles called them. "Ma, Pa!!" it was Yeonjun running up to them. "Yeonie don't run or you will get a bad booboo." Jeongguk scolded softly and saw how Yeonjun stopped and started walking. "Ma! Pa! I wanna go brllrllrl" he closed his nose with his right hand and with the left did a small wave. The parents laughed at his adorableness and Jeongguk took him in his arms. "We will go swimming baby when we eat, hmm. Now where are your brothers and sister?" Changbin just watched them interact with a dozen of question marks over his head. "Junghie is with uncle Chim walking in sand, Aumi and Tegu are with aunty." Jeongguk nodded and kissed his cheek. "Oh, sorry, Changbin. This is our son Yeonjun." He let out an ohh and nodded smiling and waving at the male. "Hello mister." Yeonjun spoke and hid his face in Jeongguks neck.

"It was nice seeing you Changbin but we have to get the rest of the kids so we can eat." He nodded and let the family walk past. He watched as they got outside and how another small boy ran up to Taehyung and hugged him. Then a girl walked up to them showing two babies. The bright smile didn't go unnoticed by him and he smiled while shaking his head. "Glad you found your happiness." Changbin mumbled and went back to his home.

"This is a wonderful dinner Taehyung, I'm so proud of you." Taehyungs mom complimented the meal and Taehyung smiled brightly adding that Armee and Seokjin helped. It was New Year's Eve and the family settled down on the beach for the last dinner that year. "Jungho and Yeonjun are going to school in a couple of months. Are you ready boys?" Grandpa asked and the two boys nodded all excited. "Yes, they are, we already decided on the school and bought them their supplies." the family nodded and continued eating with Seokjin and Hoseok making jokes here and there making them laugh and giggle.
