six pairs of legs are running in the woods, following with the gunshots and heavy steps behind them. they all are out of breath, even seungmin stumbles over while keeping the momentum. hyunjin notices it quickly grab his waist and holds him.
"thank you" seungmin mutters before he runs side to side with hyunjin.
jisung slow his pace as he tries to keep up. a hand grabs his hand before he can even stop running as the person pull him to keep going. "min... i- i can't-" jisung let out a huff.
"i know but please a little bit more! i don't wanna lose you like this, ji! please!" the brunette cries out.
a soldier changes his gun into an electroshock weapon and aim right behind hyunjin before he fires. the blond falls down to the ground with a scream escapes through his teeth. he scrunches his face in pain, he can't even move a finger. they all turns their head to see hyunjin has been captured by the soldiers.
"hyunjin!"
"seungmin! no!" chan yells when he sees the light brown haired runs towards the human without any hesitation.
some of the marine creatures are surrounded seungmin and hyunjin, who is fainted after that. "run! chan, run!" seungmin let out a sob when he put hyunjin's head on his laps.
"no..." the other siren wants to run towards his best friend but thankfully felix stops him before it happens.
"channie, we have to go"
"but seungmin!"
"the soldiers have guns in their arms for fuck sake!"
chan sees the remain soldiers are following behind them. he looks at seungmin and hyunjin who gets dragged before he turns his body to catch up the others.
they four have arrived at the lake. they have stopped running as catching some air into their lungs. jisung falls down on his butt when his legs give up on him.
"damn" is all he say. the brown haired boy supports his body by putting his arms behind his back. as he tries to stretch, a hand comes out from the water and grabs one of his arms then pulls him into the lake.
"jisung!" they all shout when they hear a splash and jisung is nowhere to be found.
minho shouts, "give my boyfriend back! stop this instant! show yourself!"
as if it is cue, bubbles are forming on the surface of the water. many black dots are visible before a big crown is seen by the humans. a siren with long white hair and a huge gold trident in his right hand, following by his soldiers with guns pointing at them, ready to pull the trigger.
the king rise his left hand and a cage comes out and floating in the air. inside it, there is jisung being unconscious, laying flat, drenching from head to toe. the friends even more worried when they do not see him breathing.
felix hears a clicking sound behind him so he takes a glance, seeing the soldiers that chasing them has arrived, pointing the guns towards them too. he also sees them carrying unconscious seungmin and hyunjin, holding them by their arms.
seeing minho and chan are trembling in fear, felix closes his eyes. he realises that they have no places to hide now.
they are now defeated.
