Brett's POV
"I... I never thought you were going to come back after you left for Puerto Rico." I stuttered.
"You didn't think I would come back to Chicago? My kids still live here. They're adults but they're still my little babies, I still want to see them." Antonio spoke.
"Oh yeah. How are they? I haven't seen them for years."
"They're great, Eva is 20 now. Time flies by, doesn't it?"
"It does."
"how's Puerto Rico?" I asked him.
"It's great. I'm helping out at the same camp as Gabby." He answered. "Anything new in Chicago? Intelligence?" He asked.
"Not really, Just the usual crime, fires and stupid young adults playing with things they shouldn't." I giggled a little. It's so nice being able to have a chill conversation with Antonio after this long time.
Antonio's POV
I've missed these chill conversations with Sylvie. It doesn't feel tense even after this time, and the way we left things.
*Phone buzzing*
"It's Gabby. I should answer it." I told Sylvie.
"Sure." she answered.
"Hey Gabby, what's up?"
"Hey. When are you going to be back? Casey left a little while ago."
"Oh, I'm not sure. I'll have to talk to Brett. Hold on, what did Casey do? Do I need to kick his ass right away?"
"No, no. He did nothing wrong; it was great. I recommended he should leave before you get back, so he doesn't get his ass kicked for the mistake he made."
"Why'd you think I would kick his ass when I got back... No wait don't answer that. I just realized."
"Exactly. Also, how's it going with Brett?"
"It's good. I'll tell you more later."
"You better!"
"Well I gotta go. Love you, bye." I said.
"Love you too, bye."

Sorry for the lack of activity. I've been stressed and unmotivated, so I haven't been writing much recently. I've got my motivation back now though, so I'll be posting more regularly. for those of you who read my other Fanfic "She's Back" I will be taking a little break from it as I am lacking ideas for it.
