Emily's POV
"So, that was Antonio. The ex-boyfriend you never wanted to talk about." I asked Brett a little after Antonio had left.
"Yes. It ended badly between us, so I didn't want to talk much about him, because it still hurts." Brett said.
"I get it. I wish I'd known about him though. Known that him and Gabby are siblings." I spoke. I would've liked to know that Antonio and Gabby were family before Stella told me. Gabby and I had a bad start to our relationship. I feel like I'm the third wheel whenever her and Brett are together.
"I'm sorry I didn't tell you. I don't want to keep more from you, so you should know that he also used to work at 21 with the Intelligence team." Brett said.
"I thought I recognized him from somewhere. I went to 21 when I first started working here. I must've seen Antonio there while I was talking to Trudy."
"He worked there until last year, when he chose to move to Puerto Rico to be with Gabby." Brett told me.
Brett and I sat down to chat a bit more.
"What do you say we have a girl's day today?" I asked.
"I don't see why not." Brett answered.
"Can I invite Gabby?" Brett asked.
