《 ✦ TOO CLOSE ✦ 》

Your phone's alarm went off and on, and you heard it. You tossed your phone across the room, oblivious to whether or not it was broken.

You leaped to your feet and dashed to your phone."Oh my god, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean it. Please don't break, please don't break, please don't break, please don't break, please don't break, please..." You begged.

It wasn't broken, thankfully. You exhaled deeply, relieved of tension. You went up to your mirror and looked at your unkempt hair.

You used some products and a brush to make it look better. You smiled as you examined your improved hair in the mirror.

You went over to your dresser and pulled out a drawer.  You took out some socks, shorts, and undergarments. You undressed, removing your old undergarments and clothing and replacing them with new socks and underwear.

To get your white and green uniform, you went to your closet. You put the shirt on slowly, yawning from fatigue. After that, you put on shorts and a skirt. You examined your reflection in the mirror.

"Oh, shit! I almost forgot about it!" You muttered. You dashed to your makeup kit and quickly applied your natural makeup look.

Sure, you did it quickly, but you've been wearing makeup for a long time. At this point, you were a seasoned pro. You received your deodorant on your dresser and rubbed the product into your armpits.

To make yourself smell even better, you put on some perfume. According to the packaging, the scent smelled like sweet daisies. You, on the other hand, were not complaining. It had a pleasant aroma.

You placed on some shoes and grabbed your school bag, which contained your school supplies.

For the last time, you looked in the mirror. You ran outside your house to start the day, satisfied with how you looked.

You didn't have someone to drive you to school because your parents were out of town. Your car was also stuck in the shop at the time. It wasn't a big deal, so you dealt with it anyway.

You noticed new people in uniforms as you walked to school. It's no surprise since it was the only high school in the area. Maybe they were first-year students?

You decide to play video games while walking to school on the sidewalk, sometimes colliding with bikers. Because the school was just 12 minutes away on foot, suffrage would be small.

Finally, you made it to Shiganshina High School. To be honest, it was such a lovely school. There were green and white flags all over, and there was a giant fucking bell in a tower that looked like a church. You admired the beauty of the stone floor as you walked across it. It was your final year here, so take full advantage of it.

You see your classmate, Annie, as you go to find Hange's classroom. Short white socks, a white shirt, khaki pants, and black Air Force shoes were on her feet. Her hair was also pulled back into a simple ponytail. She even wore a green ribbon on the first day.

She gave you a soft grin as she looked you in the eyes. "Hey, Annie!" you waved as you approached her. "Hey, (Y/n)..." she waved back softly and slowly.

Because she wasn't much of a talker, your conversations with her were usually brief.

She grabs your shirt as you're about to walk away and says, "You look... Pretty, by the way." You nodded and smiled softly at her, "Thank you, but you look stunning! It's hard to believe this is our final year together!"

She concurred, "It really does feel like we were freshmen last year. Look at us now, we're seniors."

You walked away with a light chuckle. "See you later?" You inquired. She gave a blank stare before nodding and saying, "Of course."
