The Unexpected and Unexplainable Happens

Life was almost perfect for everyone in Fairy Tail.

A few weeks started to pass and everything was going smoothly.

It was a Sunny Saturday on March and it was Aqua's 18 birthday on Monday.. April the.. 1st... it was also known as April fools day.

But this brought up so many memories. When Aqua and Storm were younger and their Dragons disappeared, they were found wandering around starving in the woods by a newly wed couple. But they weren't able to have children so the adopted the two girls.

The lady's name was Akiro Hiroshima and the man's name was Hiro Hiroshima. They knew about the girls magic and accepted them anyway.

They went to a school for mages and were very smart.

Storm was very popular in primary school and high school but since Aqua was very shy, she was mostly alone except when she's with Storm.

She loved to sing, Oceania sang to her the most beautiful songs and Aqua strived to have such a beautiful voice as hers (which Oceania always told her that when Aqua Sung, the waves of the sea flowed as her voice did), it was her second passion (first was her magic when she was younger). She would sing when they were swimming, when it was lunch or interval, in the school choir, when she walked home, basically when ever she had the chance.

But everyone grew jealous of her voice and magic and started to bully her. They called her names, beat her up, steal her stuff and tell her that her Dragon left her because she was gross, a fool, a baka or anything they could think of.

When they found out about her birthday, they called her an April fool and said the most horrid things to her.

It got so bad that she tried to kill herself, but if it wasn't for Storm finding her before she lost too much blood, she would have been dead.

And now she always dreads her birthday. Storm always got her a present though and made her smile at least once but never a happy one.

But let's get back to the Present day now shall we?
No-one's POV

The guild was as normal as it could be.

"Hey Aqua? Are you alright?" Asked Natsu.

Aqua was at the bar next to Storm, twirling the water in her glass.

"Yeah, just.. thinking... I'm actually going home now if that's alright.. bye.." said Aqua emotionless and walked out of the guild.

Natsu was going to follow her but Storm stopped him with sad eyes.

He sat down waiting for Storm to explain.

"It's almost her birthday.. it's on Monday, the 1st of April.. -" Storm started to explain but Natsu interrupted her with loudly saying the the words "it's her birthday soon! Why is she so sad then?!" But it attracted the whole guild's attention...

"Ugh.. great the whole guild heard you! Anyway I guess I should explain it to you all... We were adopted by a lovely couple when our Dragons left, who treated us very nicely. But at school Aqua was bullied. They called her names, beat her up and ... and... told her that her Dragon left her because she was a disgrace to her. They made fun of her birthday because it's on April fools day. She.. s-she..." Storm started to cry at the memory.

"Hey.. it's alright.. could you tell us what you were about to say.." said Gray.

Storm nodded and wiped her tears and said "the bullying got so bad, one day, I was coming home from town, I had gotten Aqua a present to cheer her up. Our adopted parents were out on a work exhibition and would be home the next day. I walked in the house and when to her room to give her my present for her but she wasn't there so I looked in the kitchen knowing she would probably be having a glass of water but.. I saw her laying on the ground in a pool of blood, a kitchen knife in her hand... She tried to commit suicide!"
