Janus Nova was your average adult. They did their taxes, worked, cleaned, spent time with their husband, take time to clean their burns and look after their kids.

Okay, maybe a few of those things were not "normal" by society's standards but who actually gave a shit? ((I know I don't lol))

Let's go through a few shall we? If you didn't want to then tough uwu.

1. Their husband

Janus would never forget the day they met their husband Logan Nova. It was one of the best and worst days of their life. They'd met in the hospital where Janus was taken care of after the accident.

Logan was assigned to check up on Janus as it was his job as a doctor. Janus had been in a coma for 2 weeks and Logan was the one checking their vitals and making sure they was okay.

When Janus came to, Logan was the first person they saw. They remembers the feelings all too well. Happiness, adoration... Love.

Logan was just so kind and caring. He didn't yell or hurt them. And he always made sure Janus was comfortable and didn't pressure them into doing things they didn't want to do.

Logan and Janus kept in contact and went on a few dates. Janus loved every second with Logan and the nerd reciprocated their feelings.

They started dating soon after and Logan eventually proposed. Janus loved the man they married and knew that they were loved for once in their life.

2. Look after their kids

Now you may be wondering how Janus has kids if they are gay. Well...

One night, the two of them were walking back from a date when they heard crying. Three small voices crying. Two were louder and more prominent but one was faint a weak.

When they found the source of the noise, they found three small bundles. Within each, a baby.

They immediately rushed home and from that day forward, they raised them as their own.

The first, and eldest, they named Patton. He was a bright, bubbly child who loved his family. He loved to draw and play games with his siblings. He was kind and caring too but if you were mean to his siblings or say anything mean about his Papa Jan Jan.... He wasn't so sweet-
He did have a soft spot for a certain boy in red though....

The second, and middle child, was called Emile. A smart, thoughtful kid who loved to help others and watch cartoons. If you ever had a problem, he'd always be there to help. It was a talent for him. He mostly cared for his family but also for his boyfr- best friend who was very clearly gay.

The final child, and youngest, was called Virgil. They were quiet, timid and suffered with separation anxiety. They kept to themselves and only really spoke to their brothers and parents. Although as of recently, our little enby bean met a boy in green and they seem to get along well.

All kids loved their father and papa more than anything in this world. The family was happy.

3. Clean their burns

Now I bet this is the one you were waiting for. Now, you can't tell anyone I told you about this. Only a few people know what happened to Janus. I am trusting you danger noodles won't tell.

Now, Janus wasn't always so happy. While they was still back in college, they met a guy. He was funny, sweet, kind, caring etc. He was everything Janus wanted in man.

The pair started dating and it was nice... For the first two months at least.

Tobias was a little clingy but Janus brushed it off. It was a first for the both of them and they thought he would stop over time. But he didn't.

It just started to get worse.

One day, Janus simply went out for a walk around campus with a friend of their's. It wasn't romantic at all. They were just taking a break from studying so much.

Tobias didn't like that. As soon as Janus got to their shared dorm, Tobias exploded into a fit of rage.

There was yelling, screaming, crying. The verbal argument quickly turned physical when Tobias pinned Janus to the wall by their throat.

Janus doesn't remember the specifics, or at least that's what they told Logan and their therapist.

They remember each detail perfectly. The feeling of the ropes around their wrists, tying them to the bed posts. The pocket knife lying just out of their reach. The harsh gag forced into their mouth.

After the punishment... Tobias left them. Janus thought they were safe until an orange light shined from under the door.

They heard the roar of the fire and started struggling harder. Screaming against the gag and crying out.

It was all a blur for them. Until they got a hold of the pocket knife. They freed themselves and went to run out. They screamed in pain and fell back as the flames seared their skin.

They cried harder as the flames grew closer.

Then they heard sirens. Mustering all of their strength, they crawled to the window and looked out.

A fireman was on his way to them. They were going to be saved. They blacked out soon from the smoke...

~end of backstory~

Janus sighed as they cleaned their burns, wincing at the memories. They were safe now. Tobias was long gone.

*ring ring*

Janus reached for the phone and answered the call.
"Hello?"

"You're a hard person to track down~" a low voice chuckled.

Janus hung up the phone immediately.
"H-how did he get my number.."

"Janus? Love what's the matter?" Logan asked, knocking on the door worriedly.

Motivation got thrown out the window by stress and tiredness heh.

But  there will be another part!

I don't know when it will be out but I promise I'll get it done!!
