Chapter 16: On a 'Run' to 3rd

Midnight: *announces* "Now for the first event is .... An Obstacle Race." *Midnight shot up and pointed at the screen with the words printed onto in* "This is the qualification round from which only the 1st 42 will be moving on to the next round. You are all allowed to use your quirks as you please as long as you stay on course and refrain from using it to directly harm others."  

Crystal: *looks over to Bakugo* "You hear that Bakugo?" *Bakugo growls in irritation* "Don't be a bad doggy.."

Midnight: "All of you will be running a 4 kilometer track around the stadium itself, Now remember, there will be cameras filming the entire event so the Audience can watch. Now to the starting point...!"

The participants turned away to face the massive gate as it folded away,  making way to the narrow passage that lead outside.

"On your Mark!!! GET SET!!! AND!!!  GO!!!"

All the contestants sprinted from their steady positions, but as Midnight and the Audience watches them run off:

Saito: *offscreen* "Um...excuse me?" *Midnight looks over to see Saito stand next to her confusing the hell out of her*

Midnight: "W-what are you-?"

Saito: "There is something stuck in your hair...give me a sec" *holds his hand up and a comb floats into his hand* "There we go.." *hands it to her* 

Midnight: *takes it with grateful look on her face* "Oh thank you.."

Saito: "No problem...let me tell yah, it was pretty 'Comb'at if you as me!" *badmtss* 

Midnight: *groans* "JUST GO!!!" *Saito shortcut to the front narrow tunnel before running off with smile on his face. Todoroki was the first to run out of area, using his ice, Todoroki had frozen the floor along with everyone else's feet. However some of the peak performers managed to break fast.

Bakugo: "IS THAT THE BEST YOU'VE GOT HALF'n'HALF....?!" *Todoroki turned around to see Bakugo on his tail with many others gaining on him*

Mineta:"YOU THOUGHT YOU OUT-SMARTED ME TODOROKI" *Mineta soared thru the air with his pop off balls at hand.* "But now I've quickly outsmaaaaaaaaa-!"  The short pervert was interrupted mid-air as he was sent flying as a two pointer robot suddenly hit him in mid air."

Izuku: *kept running with full cowling (Learned during training with his brother, Uncle Pap and Gaster)* "What the-?! The Zero-pointer?"

The others gradually approach to see all the mechanized giants' parts being sent flying as Saito is seen destroying every single one of the Zero Pointers before landing and running off.

Aizawa: "Huh...well so much Robot hell..."

Mic: "SAITO D. MIDORIYA IS RIGHT NOW LEADING THE OTHERS IN AN INCREDIBLE DISPLAY OF-" *Noticing something* "Huh?"

Aizawa: *looks over to Mic confused* "What?" *Mic merely points to the screen to show the parts of the Zero Pointer were all positioned to make the words*

R.I.P: Robots In Pieces.

".....God damn it Sleepy child..."

Saito is seen running towards a massive ravine, which was the second obstacle. But as he does he felt movement on top of his head, which was covered by his hood. He looks up to see Crystal who was in puppy form on his head.

Saito: *smiles* "Huh...I guess you always A'head' of the game!" *badmtss* 

Crystal barks before Saito creates a Massive long Bone in front which he uses to quickly launches himself back before instantly creating another bone and using the momentum and launching himself over the obstacle with incredible speeds. Crystal thn quickly jumps off of Saito's head and changes back into her human form and the two rush towards the next obstacle.

Mic: "WOAH THE SECOND- WAIT" *notices Crystal and is shocked to see her* "In a miraculous twist Shamarrin Lupin is now tied with Saito in 1st place, both students are Neck and Neck!!"

(Pro Hero Lounge):

Orca: *points toward Saito* "Amazing that kid is really something else."

Crust: "That's the Son of the Fallen Angel for yah, so determined!!"

Miriko: *interjects* Say what'cha want. I've got my money on the wolf pup!"

(Back to race)

Both Bakugo were neck to neck, using every way possible to outrun each other. In the head of the competing with each other. Izuku caught up with the two and soon passes them and catches up with Saito and Crystal who were slowing down to let him catch up.

Saito: "Hey bro, glad to see you with us!"

Izuku: "Big brother you don't need to slow down for me."

Crystal: "Well since you are here, yah two want to do a prank?"

Midoriya Bros." We're listening."

Mic: *"Last but not least, THE MINE FIELD!!!.... BUT DON'T BE ALARMED FOLKS. THESE EXPLOSION WITH ONLY STING A BIT!! "Oh and more thing, quick usage is prohibited in this in this obstacle..... have fun kids!!"

Todoroki: *grumble to himself as the Saito, Izuku and Crystal went ahead* "Dammit."

Bakugo: "FUCK....!"

The three already halfway across in steady pace The two behind them didn't care too much about the Explosive Traps as they rushed across. Running across the field while keeping a keen eye on the surface of the ground. Soon enough with a steady progress, Todoroki manages to catch up to Izuku, now taking the lead of everyone else.

Bakugo: "DAMNIT HALF'N'HAL-" *was going into a mad dash but he does he doesn't notice the land mine that Saito had thrown down in front of the Angry Pomeranian* "OH F-"  

*BOOM!!!*

Todoroki: 'Now's my chance.... Bakugo's out and the others's are behind me....' *runs as fast as he could not noticing the Midoriya Bros. and Crystal with an evil prankster like grin on their faces*

Saito, Crystal and Izuku: *as Todoroki is seen crossing the finish line*  'Heh...he won.....excellent.'
