Chapter 30: Boys Night out

The first day of being undercover heroes was finally over, and what a day it was,. The trio of students and teacher managed to come across a long time villain, who went by the alias Gnomen.

From the time, Todoroki almost got impaled by the oversized garden gnome's hat to when the villain slammed a soda dispenser at the two trainees (even though Saito easily dodges it). Todoroki encounter was rather unpleasant to say the least. If anything the two realized just how limited they were just two extra factor in play: Citizens and Collateral Damage. However it was quickly all over when the villain spilled Saito's ketchup bottle....which well...let's just say....it ended with the Gnome having a REALLY BAD TIME.....and a giant bone straight up his fucking tiny a-"

UA medbay after Sundown:

Both Saito and Shoto were sitting in front of the school medic room in their tattered (Except Saito) costumes, unpleasant silence looking in the air like a lingering spectre. The two were waiting for Recovery girl to finish some paperwork on the medical provisions.

Saito took the time to check his phone, and sees Izuku has messaged back saying mom is going to come back late today. 

Saito: "Hm..."

Todoroki: *breaks the silence* "So. What's your favorite food...."

Saito merely looks up to Shoto with a justified bewilderment and confusion.

"Sorry, that was a strange to ask. I'm not too good with holding conversations."

Saito: *smiles laughing it off* "Well it's a start! Oh and I would say Katsudon, Ketchup and Chocolate. You?" *thinking* 'Heh Attack on Titans Reference.'

Shoto: "Soba." *the two exchange glances before anther minute of silence.* "Quite the day huh?"

Saito: "You don't say! Well Honestly I wouldn't want to it to be gnome  that you almost got skewered by the the damn garden gnome on steroids." *badmtss* 

Todoroki: *groans* "Don't..remind..me, though I have to ask...did you really have-" 

Saito: *cold tone with hollowed eyes* "Hey....that's jerk spilled my ketchup.." *his tone started Todoroki before Saito return back to normal* "Hm..actually it's getting pretty late.." *quickly text something to his little bro*

Saito: *text* "Hey little bro, you want to head to Grillby's tonight?"

Izuku: *text back with the starry eyed emoji at the end of text* "YES!" *then text again* "Wait maybe you should ask Todoroki-san if he would like to join?"

Saito: *text* "Sure.. I'll ask him." *looks over Todoroki* "Hey, after we get changed out..want to join me and little bro the Grillby's?"

Todoroki: *looks at Saito confused* "Grillby's?"

Saito: "Yup, it's a diner that me, Izuku and Pomeranian would go to a lot. It be like a boy's night out! Plus Grillby's makes amazing food including Hot Soba and-"

Todoroki: *Holds his hand up* "You had me at Soba! I'm in just let me call my sister to see if it's okay."

Saito: *shrugs* "Fine by me.."

(Later)

After being discharged by Recovery Girl and getting patched up, Todoroki and Saito quickly went home to get changed into their normal attire. Saito walks out the doorway with Izuku and were about to leave when he notices Izuku looking over to distance with a certain look on his face as if something was missing. Saito being the older brother quickly knew what it was.
