Chapter 10

After a couples months of trying to hold on to Marcus and trying to stay a family with him that's he refused to try and build I decided to move on. Besides I couldn't be any happier I have a healthy baby boy and a house I'm living in on my own and I'm able to keep a stable place & food on the table for both the baby and I. Marcus hasn't seen his son in a long time all he has seen of his son was the pictures I used to send him I stopped after I figured he didn't wanna be in the babies life but trying to be nice I would send him picture so he can see his son was doing good. I haven't dated in a while out of choice. I've been asked out so many times but decided it would be best for me to stay focused on my son and school. Plus I was getting help from Marcus well at lease the help I did get from child support which was the only help I got if that because most of the time he wouldn't even pay it because he was in and out of jail. I'm happy I didn't name my son Marcus jr. that would have been really stupid of me. I named our beautiful baby boy Xavier. He was the cutest most happiest little baby you could ever meet! He was always laughing and smiling. I got his footprint with his name tattooed on my back up by my shoulder. I'm happy he looks more like me then he does his father. I just hope when he gets older he won't really care to see his dad since he didn't care to stick around and raise him with me like a real father. I feel bad knowing I could have waiting and had Xavier to give him a better life and possibly even a father. It would be a lot more easier being able to finish school and do work and projects. Then again Xavier isn't really much of a bother I throw on some Elmo and he just sits there clapping his cute little hands together and laughing.
