Chapter 2

Andy had left Sullivan's office yesterday slightly happy she was really glad he was back in Seattle but things could go so bad , he got married when he left Seattle 12 years ago and then she got married with Gibson . He stopped taking news when his wife had found out they were still in touch and they hadn't seen each other's ever since. She was now laid in her bunk on her back looking through her colleges pics with Robert and some with. Her and maya on it and it got her nostalgic about the old times , those were all memories and she wanted to make them moments again . Robert as always been a friend to her and that she always loved . He was there for her day to night she was living down the street to him so he'd snuck out at night and went to her house even if they were in college he still shucked out of his parents house like a teenager , and they found it very nice they'd spend hours talking or he'd helped her with her studies and they just spent the best time of their lives , she got yelled at once by her father for having a boy over at midnight he had saw him snuck out the window when he got home but only told her weeks after , but he didn't really mind he knew Roberts parents and he was a great kid. She got pulled out her thoughts by hearing a small knock at the door of her bunk "hey ands it's me" she heard her husband say so she got up and went to the door "hey babe" "hi , I was just about to head home" "alright I'll see you in 12 hours" "I'll see you home andy" he gave her a quick kiss and left the station . Andy went back to her bed threw this old sweatshirt on and went to sleep . She got woken up by Vic yelling thet breakfast was ready , and joined them to eat. They got called into a small call nothing big , shift was over when they got back , she wrapped her things and got ready to leave the station , it was chill outside so she threw that sweatshirt again and got out the station "Andrea wait" she heard , she sighed and turned right at the reception "yes captain?" "Is that mine?" He said looking at her blue/grey sweatshirt "well technically it's mine" "well I gave it to you" "Robert..." "fine have a nice day lieutenant" "you too captain" she said as she joined maya that was going down the stairs "what was that about?" "What nothing" "Andy" "nothing in just wearing his hoodie" "oh that one..?" "Yes that one" she glanced at maya "shut up" "I didn't say anything" "you said it with your eyes now come on" maya and Andy drove to the gibbons residence , Andy had offered her to take a few bear that night but they ended up drunk and had eaten 3 jumbo pizza with the help of Jack and mayas boo . When they woke up in the morning all of them feeling the headache so bad wanted to go back to sleep again , and that's what Jack did he had a day off today and he was enjoying it still passed out on the couch. "We gotta go Andy" "yea we do, we also need to shower" she let out and both laughed Andy going upstairs and maya downstairs showering as fast as they could taking thet time to wake themselves up a little , and drove off to the station Andy not bothering to tell Jack goodbye as he was very deep in his sleep , both arrived just in time at the station , the captain looking at them very seriously "sorry cap" maya let out and Andy only followed behind not even bothering to look at him. As soon as they had dressed they got called to a four alarm fire , they had arrived first on scene when it started and escalated fast. When they had gotten back to the station all of them were dirty from the call and all called in for a shower , they were glad they didn't get called while they were taking all of this dirt off them , Andy had went down to Sullivan's office before going to take a shower asking him why he decided to leave her with him all call "captain?" She said "come in Andrea" "why do you keep calling me that it's Herrera" "well Andrea.." she aight at his use of her full name again but stoped as soon as a knock was heard "come in" "hey sully" "chief" he said nodding in his direction "Andy" "Luke, I'm gonna let you two alone" "we are not done with this conversation yet Andy!" He said but she was long gone to the barn with the team , she had watched closely Robert and Luke's conversations intrigued about why he'd use his tittle over his name he didn't seem to care about his use of her name. Her eyes had followed him into the turnout room so she made it there as quiet as he did and locked the door behind them "what was that out there?" "What?" "You calling your best friend chief" "it's nothing" "rob ... he's your best friend and you didn't say Luke just like old times" "Andrea" "see you don't have any problem calling me Andrea but you can't call him Luke what happened Robert?" "Nothing Herrera leave it" "and we are back to formality" "Herrera.. this i." "Come in !" He said slightly aggravated by the person who interrupted their conversation "captain I was .. I was gonna ask if you knew where Herrera is but she is here" "jack?" "Hey ands , you forgot something" "what no I what what did I forget? It's not our anniversary""your ring Andy you forgot your rings" "omg thank you I was looking for them" "well here they are" he said holding them "thanks love I'll see you at home" "see you at home" she put her rings back and turned to Robert "I have to go" "so Jack uh" "yeah he's pretty great" how long?" "4 years" "oh wow well congratulations but you should go now" "oh okay" Andy said she was shocked at his answer shocked at his emotionless face and in disbelief she turned around and made her exit out and to the Beanery with the team . Robert was sat at his desk thinking about what had just happens why couldn't he tell her why couldn't he open his mouth.
