Mingi and San were busy rummaging through the different boxes looking for some blankets and still hadn't found anything useful. Slowly losing faith the two boys had opened every box and didn't find anything. Eventually they gave up and started walking back to the classroom.
"So you like Wooyoung, huh" The brunette said on the way back.
"And you like Hongjoong" San immediately retaliated.
"Fuck off" Mingi said with a chuckle as he playfully hit the ravenette.
"What you're going to tell me you don't? Come on, I've heard the story" San said.
"The story?"
"You saved his life" San said in a high-pitched voice wile bating his eye lashes.
"I didn't save his life, I helped him out" Mingi socffed.
"Dude, I saw the boxes and the shelf, those looked real heavy"
"Fuck yeah they were, my back's all messed up now" Mingi said laughing. "But it was worth it" He added.
"You mean Hongjoong was worth it?" San repeated with a smile.
"It was. He could have been seriously hurt, I was just helping a...friend- stranger- acquaintance? school mate, yeah school mate"
"you like him"
"I don't know, he's cute, he's different. I don't think he likes me very much though" Mingi pouted. He had made a terrible first impression and had trouble getting rid of it.
"You'd be surprised"
"How so?"
"Can't say"
"How do you even know about the whole box and shelf thing?" Mingi rolled his eyes, he wanted to know, could Hongjoong be interested in him as well?
"Wooyoung told me"
"Dude you two were in together for like ten minutes"
"We talk a lot. Well, Wooyoung does" San smiled, the boy could talk so much.
"What's the deal with you two? Do you like each other?"
"I'm pretty sure it's reciprocal, yeah" The boy said as if it were obvious.
"Pretty sure? Please, you two look like a married couple and you only met today" Mingi rolled his eyes whereas San smiled.
It was true, he had never met someone with whom he connected so well so fast, it was like love at first sight only he had already seen Wooyoung before. He had always dreamt of talking to the younger but never had the opportunity, he had imagined millions of conversations and first impressions but none of them had been as amazing as the real one they had today.
Today had been perfect and the boy was sure that it wouldn't be the end of his story with Wooyoung but rather the beginning.
A shout interrupted the boy's daydream. He looked to his right and saw Seonghwa carrying a rather pale looking Yeosang.
"Mingi! Come help me" Mingi ran to where Seonghwa was and helped him carry Yeosang who kept on denying their help saying he was fine and could walk by himself.
"What the hell happened??" San asked as he saw the blood dripping from the brunette's hand and pants.
"He fell on broken glass" Seonghwa answered quickly.
"Seriously?" San kicked open the classroom door and sat Yeosang down on a chair. Multiples questions and a sudden ruckus was heard as the boys gathered around the injured Yeosang.
"Guys! I need some quiet please, Jongho go get the first aid kit in the nurse's office!" San yelled. "Yeosang, you okay?" He asked.
"I'm fine. It hurts but it's fine"
"He lost a lot of blood San, I didn't have anything to stop the bleeding" Seonghwa rolled his eyes, exasperated.
"It's going to be fine, Seonghwa. Don't worry. I think it's all superficial bleeding. We have clean the wound right now"
"Here!" Jongho came in running, dropping the kit and some towels on top of the desk.
"Very good, Jongho" San grabbed a towel and proceeded to stop the bleeding, applying pressure on the cut. "Someone get me water and soap"
Yunho ran to the nearest bathroom, grabbing some water in a cup and the soap. The ravenette then cleaned the wound before applying some antibiotics and sterile bandage he had found in the kit.
Wooyoung who had been watching the whole thing started having spams from the sight.
"You okay, Wooyoung?"
"I'm not feeling so well, San" He admitted.
"I'll take Wooyoung for a walk, Seonghwa you finish wrapping the bandage around his hand and clean the other cuts?" The blonde nodded as San took Wooyoung's hand and walked out of the classroom.
Jongho sat back down next to Yunho as Seonghwa carefully wrapped the white tissue around the cut.
"I'm sorry, I should have been there to catch you" Seonghwa said.
"Hyung, you were on the opposite side of the kitchen, it's okay. This isn't your fault" Yeosang softly spoke.
"Still, this shouldn't have happened to you" His left hand was holding the brunette's injured hand and the right was circling around with the bandage.
The blonde carefully finished the wrapping it, gently tucking the remaining part between two layers as his right hand came to rest on top if Yeosang's hand who gently squeezed it.
"Thank you, hyung"
"Don't mention it" The two smiled and stayed still, their hands enjoying each other's warmth.
Seonghwa kneeled in front of Yeosang and proceeded to slowly remove the glass from his right knee and shin. The brunette kept whimpering and hissing which only made it harder for the elder to keep going. It took Seonghwa a good fifteen minutes to take each small piece out and clean the small cuts.
"I'm sorry for hurting you" Seonghwa said in a small voice.
"Don't worry, it doesn't hurt as bad as the hand. The cuts are pretty small, thank god" Seonghwa nodded and gently covered each cut with a band aid before going to sit next to Yeosang, his hand resting on the boy's thigh.
Everyone got back to minding their own business until Yunho mentioned that Wooyoung and San had been away for some time now. With nothing better to do, the brunette left the classroom and proceeded to look for his friends. After a lot of walking, Yunho turned around a corner, immediately holding in his laughter.
"I hope I'm not disturbing" He said as he watched the two boys sitting on a bench, San's hand was wrapped around the ravenette's smaller one, their lips sealed together. When they heard their friend's voice both boys jumped apart, blushing furiously.
"Yunho, what are you doing here??" Wooyoung asked, his voice sounding even higher than usual.
"We were wondering if everything was fine with you two, you feeling better Wooyoung?"
"Much" The boy quickly answered making the two others chuckle.
"Come on let's head back" Yunho rolled his eyes but his smile betrayed how he truly felt. He started walking towards the classroom, the two others trailing behind him.
