Then we started seeing each other every night...

I eventually learned the truth,about the miracles that happen after death.
I would meet them soon.

"Hey Eva..?"

"Yes Ivy?"

I felt her touch on my skin.

"Ivy... I promise. But stop thinking of this! Maybe you will do this,not me. Fate can be changed."

Her voice always had calmed me. It was time for her to go, they are waiting for her.

"How is Kai doing?"

"Ivy,I told you... look at how beautiful he is! He's got your emerald eyes,and Kai's hair." Her voice was full of joy.

"I made it.. I didn't die... it's a miracle.."
I was so exhausted.

"Hey! You promised me you wouldn't think of this!"

"Yeah..."

"Go to sleep, you need it. Dont worry, I will watch over him from here."

"Thanks.."

"I got to stay with you for 3 days.. in those 3 days,you made me the happiest person on earth."

"3 days? What happened after?"

When the third night came, I knew I would make it to see the dawn again.

"Look Ivy, hold him. He wants his mother."
She handed you over to me.

"Ivy.. what are you saying..?" Her voice was cracking, and tears fell from Her Lilac Eyes.

"Eva.. please.. watch over my son in my place. Teach him, feed him, talk to him,sing for him. Be the mother I wish I could be."
I was really sorry..

"Ivy no! You cant leave him!"

"Promise me! Promise me,on my death bed, that you will protect and guide him through this life!"

"I... I promise!" She was crying her heart out.

"Then.. I became one of her beautiful stars. "

I ran to her and cried on her shoulder.

The first side and the more common one is temporary happiness.
And the other side that is more harder to find but worth it is eternal happiness. "

We spent some more time,until my birthday was officially over. It was 00:04 am.

But I woke up. It was morning,10 o'clock.

"The hell happened last night?"
My head hurts,did I fell or something?
I saw a history book on the floor, and a note on my nightstand.

"Good morning,Mako. Probably when you will see this,it will be already past your birthday but Happy Birthday again. I wish you all the best,and I really hope you remembered the essentials. You met your mother. Now when you're reading this,your head hurts, am I right? Well.. you also got drunk last night and you wouldn't stop smirking at me. I got scared and hit you with that book so that you could fall asleep. I'm sorry but you deserve it! Anyway, see you tonight.
