•••••••••••••••••• B O N N I E woke up to her cellphone ringing. She tried to move over to the edge of the bed to grab her phone, but couldn't. She looked over and saw Damon's arm wrapped around her body. She smiled and slowly moved out of his arms, but he pulled her back closer and groaned.
"Can't we just stay like this?", he said pouting. She chuckled and kissed her husband's forehead. She was happy with Damon. After everything that had happened in her life she deserved this. She had her daughter and Damon. Nothing could ever ruin that for her. Her phone begins to ring again and Damon groans snuggling into Bonnie even more.
"I'm sorry babe, but it sounds important. We've been ignoring this call since yesterday night. If they keep calling it has to be important." she sighed and reached over to her nightstand. When she unlocked it she had over 50 messages from her friends.
20 missed calls from Hope, 10 messages from Nora and Mary Louise's kids, Iris and Beau, 20 missed calls from Elena, 30 messages from Alaric, and 40 messages and 30 missed calls from Caroline. All consisting of the same message.
'LIZZIE, JOSIE, AND SERENITY ARE MISSING COME TO THE BOARDINGHOUSE ASAP'
Bonnie started to panic and multiple thoughts running through her mind. 'What if someone got her' 'what if I can't save her'. Damon noticed her heavy breath and pulled her into a hug from behind.
"Shhh calm down.", he told her except she couldn't calm down. Her only child was missing. No one had no idea where she was. Serenity never just disappeared and as spontaneous she is she never left without leaving a message. Damon gently took the phone from Bonnie's grip and went through it. His face completely turned angry and he growled, "Get dressed we're leaving NOW!", he told her releasing her and getting off the bed.
She nodded her head yes and got dressed. Damon didn't play when it came to Serenity. Even though Serenity isn't his, he treated as if she was. Damon was speeding around the room packing their overnight bags and dressing himself. Bonnie couldn't help but laugh at how cute Damon looked when furious. When he heard her laugh he stopped and look at her.
"What's so funny Bon?", he asked stepping closer to her. He wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer.
"The way you look. Your serious face.", Bonnie replied smiling widely staring into his oceanic eyes. "The way you care about her even though she isn't yours.". He smiled back at her before leaning down and kissing her passionately. His kisses made her melt and he knew that. When they pulled apart and he stared into Bonnie's electric green eyes.
"She's mine. Even if biologically she's Klaus', she's mine. I love her and not just because I love you, but because she's my humanity. She's like a daughter to me and I would raise Hell for her.", he told her. Damon and Serenity always had a deep bond. When they first Damon didn't want to put her down, which others thought was weird for him. Damon would ask Bonnie to babysit Serenity even when Bonnie wasn't busy. It was safe to say he loved Serenity and would do anything for her. "We should hurry up and get to the school."
