I Pretended That I Have An Amnesia

Chapter 11

I arrived at the abandoned warehouse at 7:58pm. Two minutes left before 8:00pm.

I decided to stop by the big tree and took off from my Ducati and started to walk  infront of the warehouse.

It's  dark and the shade of the moon is the only source of light.

As I stepped closer to the closed door. The door slowly opened, showing a very dark room.

I started walking inside quietly and waiting for someone to show up and listening to any sign of someone else inside here.

I can feel two pairs of eyes staring at me from a distance but not that far.

That gave me much more reason to not let my guards down. I won't  let them catch me off guard.

I closed my eyes as I let out a deep sigh. I'm  making my self calmer so I can listen to all my senses, tracking where they are.  I sensed some force about to hit me from the right so I moved as I heard a lightly strong sign of wind passing by my right cheek.

After that is another one from the left, so I moved again. And another one from the right again it's  been trying to hit me by the same pattern and direction. So I moved again and again. When it stopped I decided to open my eyes.

The room got surrounded of a bright light revealing two persons behind those stares. And I'm  not wrong. It's  really them. They are Shane and Gino.

I can feel anger and furious within their stare. I wanna laugh to that thought.

Now, they have the nerve to even get mad at me when they are the ones who has been hurting me all along. Lol. They gotta be kidding me.

I turned to my left and right looking for those things that I've  avoided just  earlier and found out those we're  daggers.

I turned to them wearing my poker face.

I was about to speak when he spoke first.

"Why?" he asked while glaring at me.

I know what he meant but its not bad to act dumb right?  Lemme play with them for a while. Serves  like a warm up, right?

"Why what?" I  asked acting innocent.

I can see annoyance within  his stares.

"Oh, c'mon don't  act like you don't get anything Arreane!" he yelled and it made me more happy.

I wanna laugh but they are too serious so I stopped myself.

They saw me stopping myself from laughing and that made their eyebrows meet.

"Answer me!" He yelled again.

I seriously  transferred my gaze to him.

"Answer you with what? I don't  even know your  exact question." I said as I  rolled my eyes on him.

"Why did you do all that? Why did you pretended that you have an Amnesia?" he asked me with the following questions.

"Finally, you two know now. Phew. It took you two decades to even realize that simple thing." obviously, I'm  exaggerating.

"I can't  blame you two. If only either of you we're  not stupid enough to even check my records on the hospital  before leaving right? Neither of you two even called for the doctor before even taking my money." I sarcastically laughed.

They blinked as they realized how stupid they were. They looked at each other and unbelievably shook their head.

"Now, let me ask you back Gino." I said as I gazed at him.

"A-Ask me what?" he stuttered.

Seriously?  He's  still nervous after all that?

"Why?" I meaningfully asked.

His face went calm as if he realized something  and got my point right away. Well, I hope so.

"W-Why what?" He gazed at Shane and can't  look back straight at me.

Shane held his hand and now they are holding each other's  hand. Pfft. How sweet.

"You're  asking why he cheated on you right?" Shane answered on behalf of him confidently.

"Yes, Shane please tell me. Why? Why did you two cheated on me? Why, best?" I asked her back as I called her with our call sign "best" instead of "best friend".

She gulped as she answered.
"Simply cause you can't  give him satisfaction and I can, anytime he want. You're  lacking Arreane.And I pity you because you can't  keep your  man." She said those with a hint of insult and proudness on her tone.

I laughed sarcastically.

"Yeah right, I'm  lacking cause I can't give my body. Well, is that even something for you to be proud of because you can give yourself whenever you want? Damn. What are you Shane? A freaking hoe? Pfft." I smirked as I said that.

I can feel her gritting of teeth as a sign of anger.

"Oops,sorry did I just said that? Well, I can't blame you. You can't  get a guy by that attitude of yours that's  why you're  using your freaking body that's been used with, I don't know how many guys." I shrugged and stopped as I stared at her whole body from head to toe with the disgusted face on.

"You pity me? Well, sorry but no thanks. I don't  need your pity. In fact I pity you more. Love ain't  measured by what you can give. What you can or cannot give doesn't  really matter. It's  your partners problem if he can't  get contented by what you could give. And on me and Gino's case? He can't  get mine so he chose to get yours 'cause you're  just an easy going freaking hoe." I said as I mentioned 'hoe' loudly.

"GINO LOVES ME! THAT'S  WHY HE CHOSE ME OVER YOU!" She yelled as she answered.

"Love you? or you mean 'Love' your body?"I stopped. As I asked her while looking at her eyes straight.

"Love? Pfft. Fvck love. You're  not that dumb to not realize you got him 'cause you gave him your body. He loves your body, not you.  Wake up Shane. Wake up!" I told her with  loud tone and I hope it gave her some sense.

She faced Gino while he is still looking down.

"You love me right?" I heard her ask Gino.

"Ofcourse baby, I love you. Don't listen to her she is brainwashing you." Gino answered as he held her face and glared at me after.

"How dare you tell her those lies." He said as he gave me those stares as if he's giving out daggers from it.

"Lies? Why? Am I wrong? For what I know I'm  never wrong. You are the one who did wrong, right from the start Gino." I stopped as I took a deep breath.

"I know I'm  lacking and I can't give you myself yet. But is it even right to find it to someone else what your partner is lacking at? For what I know, it's  never right. If you love me you'll  wait for me. No matter how long it is. Well, I guess it really ain't love. You're  just a part of my 'so-called life'. I guess its really not you. And I thank  you for making me realize that."

I took a deep breath as I felt a tear drop on my right cheek.

"I believe on love. And no matter how you hurt me I can still love. And I believe love will come to me on it's own way. Someday I can find my own Man to live with. And  I know its not you and I'm  grateful I managed to change my fate. Or I'll  be living a much more miserable life with a cheater like you."

He sighed as I felt a stinging sensation on my arm and its a wound.

I looked back at them and I saw Shane holding a dagger and staring at me. I guess its her.

Tch. I just let my guard down again.
