I Pretended That I Have An Amnesia

Chapter 12

She started running towards me with her dagger and Gino is still standing while I guess, he's clouded with his own thoughts.

Shane tried hitting me with her dagger so I dodged it again and again. I moved back and took my katana.

I saw her eyes widen and so she took her own.

She did took it with her.

We used to practice together before and ofcourse my mother taught us both but she never won against me.

"DIE!" she screamed.

She went closer and I held my katana with my right hand and motioned it towards her she moved and countered it with her own katana.

She then tried to strike me at my waist. I moved and I managed to hit her right leg.

She moved back and look at her wound. She glared as she screamed and run towards me and gave me consecutive attacks that I
managed to dodge but the last one. She managed to give me a slice on my left thigh.

I neglected it and moved for an attack.
she's holding her katana by her right hand too.

I swiftly held her right hand's wrist when she attacked and curved it that made her scream in pain and let go of her katana and that made it fell on the ground. I then kicked it away from her and I'm  not that dumb to kick it closer to Gino so, I moved it away from all of us.

I moved her arms to her back when I felt a mouth of a gun on my temple.

"Let go of her." He said. It's  Gino. I guess he recovered from what's happening  and decided to help, On maybe killing me?

I'm not that dumb to let them have the upper hand so I took my revolver from my back using my free hand and hit him from the back. it made him let go his gun so I kicked it away from him too.

I heard his voice  and a sign of him in pain. I let go of Shane by pushing her with force and quickly throw my katana and took my other hand gun.

I placed it to both of their direction.

"One more move  and I'll  end the both of you." I calmly said.

I felt Gino trying to move so I fired on his side that  made him shiver.

"I said, one more move! That's  a trial, once more and I won't  be wasting any of my time on letting you both live." I said in a voice full of authority.

I sarcastically laughed.

"After what you both did to me. You still have the nerve to even try to kill me? I don't  even get what I did to both of you to make you both cheat on me behind my back. I trusted the both of you yet, you both broke it. Fvck you both!" I stopped as I felt my eyes looming in tears.

"I've let you two slide. I even pretended to have an amnesia  just to let you both live happily and I didn't  even tried to go against you two. Even if I have the rights. Because, I'm  the one who has been cheated on. I'm  the one who has been hurt the most. Can't  I even have a break? Does either of you even thought of what I'll  feel if you two will cheat on me?  Did either of you even cared of what I'll  feel?" I started crying.

"And now you both are trying to kill me?  Well, fvck you both 'cause I'll  kill you both first before either of you could even kill me." I said as I fired both of my gun on their direction.

I let go from grasping both of my guns as I sat as if I lost all my energy by that.

I cried again. I cried out loud. In the middle of the night.

I stopped after awhile and decided to  pick up all my guns and katana. I took a glance at them both.

"How dare you two waste my time when I have my own puppy to take care of." I said as I wiped my cheeks harshly.

I started walking on the way out when I heard another one-by-one clapping and I know who does that stuff. It's  Mr. Velasquez.

He is on the door. Smiling while clapping and looking at me.

"Why are you here? How did you know I'm  here, Mr. Velasquez?" I asked him while glaring.

"Oh, c'mon  easy Ms. Arreane. I visited on your company but you're  not  there and your secretary told me you didn't  go to work. So, I thought you'll  be on your condo. So, I went there." he said. And he's so loud and its irritating me.

"How did you know where my condo is?" I raised my left eyebrow as I asked him.

"Well, uh-I kinda used my connections. Hehe." he said as he went holding his neck. And giving me his nervous smile.

"Pfft. So? I thought  you'll  be at my condo. Why are you here? "I asked again.

"Well, I saw you  walking outside and you  seem on a rush and woah! I saw you  ride your Ducati. That's so cool." he said and amazement is registered on his face.

"So what?" I rolled my eyes and started walking.

"I followed you." He said.

I stopped and transfered my gaze at him.

"Sorry, I was worried 'bout you. You're  riding your Ducati so fast and in a rush. And I-I heard everything." he said slowly with his apologizing look.

"B-B-But don't  worry, I'll  not tell anyone about this. What happened is safe with me. Please, don't  be mad." he quickly said as if he thought it will change my mind and I'll  be mad.

"Fine, I won't. But in one condition."
I said. Well, he could be useful in some ways though.

"Yeah, sure. Tell me I'll  do anything." he said excitedly.

"Clean this mess." I said straight.

"That's  all?" He said and looked disappointed.

"Yeah why? You want more?  Just tell me, 'cause I'll  kill you too. That way there'll  be more to clean, right?" I said smiling and I saw his face went pale.

"N-no, that's enough. I'll  clean this mess." he said nervously.

"Okay, thanks." I said and continued walking to my Ducati.

"Wait." He called me out.

"What?" I stopped not looking back.

"I like you more  tonight  more than I liked you before. And sorry  if you have to go through that guy before finding someone  who'll  be willing to wait for you. Sorry for coming late. By chance, maybe I'm  the right one for you. Goodnight, Arreane." he said straight. I can feel he's  smiling. And he started walking.

"Goodnight, Adrian."I said in a low tone. I don't know if he could hear.

I didn't  mind to answer what he just said. I don't  really  care. I'm  not ready  to be in a relationship  again. I don't even know if I will ever be.

I reached on my Ducati and wore my helmet and ride on and drove  on the way  here, at the cliff after that scene earlier.

I'm  looking up the sky and staring at the stars and moon.

I miss my parents. I wanna hug them tight.

I closed my eyes as I felt a cold breeze passing through me.
I just think everytime this happens that my parents are hugging me. So I hugged myself.

I just passed another battle on my life.

After all I still got my reward and its my pet puppy. I'm  gonna name it Bear. He's brown with white spots colored dog.

I took a deep sigh.

I'm  Arreane.
I pretended that I have an Amnesia.
And I killed them both.
