I really did intend to update, but there's a huge flaw in writing this story I had been ignoring up until now. We don't have enough canon Runaan content to be basing his depiction in fanfiction off of yet. And while I could make up what the show hasn't covered according to what makes the most sense, new and confirmed seasons have yet to come. Why does this matter? Because I don't want to end up regretting how I flesh out Runaan or contradict canon as it airs. I also need to develop Atarah as a complementary companion for him (and boy, was that already gonna be a process because, ya know, canon pairings). I didn't understand why I couldn't envision how to proceed with Rutarah scenes when actually writing instead of planning, but it makes sense now. When our fave uncle-aged assassin returns to the cast in the show, I'll pick this up again.
I am so sorry for getting ahead of myself and publishing this much already. Thanks for being interested and reading, but I will be back when the show continues.
