Hoseok. It's Halloween.
We've been going to this park virtually every single day. We sit on the same bench and suddenly our fingers are intertwined with each other, watching the frosty air dissipate below our noses. Your cheeks are red, and you flash me a smile, but it's a smile full of teeth chatter for I know how cold you are.
But somehow your hands are still warm, enveloping mine like a hot chocolate by the campfire. I can hear your breath, just about, a little puff of air as you inhale and exhale.
The darkness surrounds us but leaves room for me to look at you. The trees won't stop dancing around us, swaying in confidence, and that's when you know that the universe is rooting for us to come together.
You look me in the eyes. It's a soft look, a gentle look, yet it pierces through my body so violently. You smiled at me, and said that there was something you wanted to tell me.
You leaned in, ever so slightly.
I met you halfway and
your lips finally touched mine.
